TAKE MY WORD FOR IT– YOU WILL NOT WANT TO STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! I SWEAR! I checked in on Friday, June 19^th and checked out Sunday, June 21^st. From making the reservations, to check-​out, everything was wonderful! The hotel offers discounts for surrounding restaurants and eateries ranging from 10% to 20%! UTILIZE THIS TREAT for maximum savings. There is a luggage cart available for use for convenient carrying of our luggage. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. There was PLENTY of room for my husband and our two kids. The front room consisted of a couch that folded out to a comfortable bed (according to my kids who chose to sleep in there with the laptop and the flat-​screen TV). Also in the front room is a desk with a executive leather chair, the refrigerator that held everything I needed (not a full size but a larger mini), a sink, a microwave, cabinet space, a coffee table, and a dresser. Get this– there is a door that separates the front room from the bedroom. BINGO! Added privacy for me and the hubby when we needed it! It locks from the bedroom side too! (Mmmmmhmmmmmm!) There was another sink with PLENTY of counter space next to the closet with an adjacent bathroom. The closet was a nice size. The iron and ironing board came in handy. There was another 4 drawer dresser that was pretty big. A nice little chair sat in the corner, and there was a night stand in between the beds. They offer free high-​speed internet and free Time Warner On-​Demand. Nice outdoor view facing Hooters too. The bathroom was immaculate! Totally more than enough counter space! The shower was a nice size. The extra toiletries, like a shower cap, was what I needed. The hair dryer blew really hot, which is what I needed to straighten this hair of mine. The water could get really hot, which I love. The towels were white as snow and CLEAN– NO STAINS! They smelled really good too! Now, let’s talk about these beds… The beds felt SOOOOOOOO good! I hated getting in my bed when I came back home to Houston! Lol! They were comfortable and big enough to accommodate myself and my 6’2 husband. They sheets and comforters where clean. Plenty of lighting/​lamps in the room. The A/​C unit blew just fine. It did get a bit warm in the front room. I noticed there were two thermostats in the suite that did not work, but my kids stated they were not hot in the living room. We enjoyed the free breakfast (even though the liquid or powdered eggs didn’t sit well with our stomachs– gassy… ewww). You could make your own waffles, and we enjoyed that. The orange juice was to die for! I’m telling you, I LOVED it. The dining area was so neat and comforting, and the lady taking care of the serving area was so sweet! We enjoyed the Whirlpool the morning of our check-​out day. LOVED IT!!! They hubby and kids got into the pool. It was too cold for me, but they loved it. I asked for late check-​out and was accommodated because I needed a little more time to pack (since I am my family’s maid). I will never stay in another hotel other than Quality Inn & Suites on S. New Road whenever I return to Waco, which should be annually for my husband’s family reunion. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to EVERYONE! Hotel is fair, but I have to say the smell in the entire hotel is horrible. It’s not even confined to one area it’s everywhere. I thought maybe I was wrong until I asked a few other guests staying and they agreed. Upper management needs to visit and see this first hand, rather smell it. Checked off my list when I come to Waco

Felt like I was bothering the check in guy. Seemed like he had more important things to do. Holiday inn or Hampton on my next monthly Waco visit.

The best rooms, recently remodeled and rarely do I write a review but I signed on to give this hotel a good review. great for the price ! Great free breakfast ! Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and very hospitable staff. I would definitely stay here again

We moved our daughter to Baylor this Thursday and based on the recommendation of a friend we booked a stay here for one evening… By the time we checked into the hotel that day we were wiped out from getting her settled and I was looking forward to a couple of hours of rest before the «President’s Picnic». When we first drove up, the place looked nice from the outside and had adequate parking… Right across the street was a Burger King and a gas station and what drew our friend was all the shopping close by. There is also an IHOP behind the place as well. The desk clerk was pleasant enough and checked us in to what was a non smoking room but, on floor 3; which was a mix of non-​smoking and smoking rooms. My 9 year old son noticed the smoking smell right away when we exited the elevator and my wife did too but, we were so tired we didn’t make a fuss about it. In hindsight I probably should have but, because we were in a hurry to get to the Presidents picnic we didn’t. Bad decision.
When we got back to the room later in the evening the smoke smell seemed more pervasive in our room. My wife is very sensitive to this but I felt it was not bad enough to request a change in rooms although this experience left me a bit annoyed. I wish the desk clerk would have forewarned us. Please NOTE!: Owner if you read this! But what was another «annoyance» was when I took my kid down to the pool and there were zero towels for the guests! Good thing I brought one down from the room! Later we had to ask for some in the front lobby as we were dripping water all over their floor! And to top it off after the swim experience I was thirsty and when I went to the drink machine in the hallway it didn’t work… annoyed I called the front desk and they told me the one downstairs worked. But the worst thing was as I proceeded downstairs I ran into 3 «hoods» in the elevator who kept pestering me for money as I had some dollar bills in my hand that I was going to use in the machine. Tattooed and with attitudes I was a bit taken aback… where did these guys come from? Were they guests? Sheesh!
After all of this I kept peering out the window at my car which I thought might be vandalized by these guys! But fortunately the lot was well lit so I felt somewhat secure… Going to bed that night surprisingly I did sleep well and the place was relatively quiet… BUT, the only redeeming feature for me for this stay was, that the breakfast in the morning was decent, but for the money I paid, I could have gone to the much more «superior» Residence Inn by Marriott for $ 30 more! I was a bonehead! Lesson learned…
So buyer beware… Check around cus’ there are much better options!
When I told all of this to the desk clerk as we were checking out he appeared disinterested and said essentially, «sorry it won’t happen next time» and I told him there was NOT going to be a next time! It wasn’t a complete waste of money as our friends were there but you can get much cleaner rooms and much better service elsewhere for the money IMHO!!!

This is an OK place to stay. A little pricey considering 35mi up the road in Hillsboro, TX there’s a Comfort Suites for $ 55 a night. Paid $ 86/​night here for 2 nights.
Skip the free breakfast and walk next door to IHOP if you value your waistline. The breakfast is loaded with carbs, carbs and more sugary carbs. Only protein was these cheese-​out-​of-​a-​can-​egg omelet things. Disgusting! The pigs-​in-​blanket were all over-​cooked/​stale and impossible to chew.
Bed and facilities were OK. Free WiFi. Heated indoor pool. I might look around for something else if I have to stay in Waco again.

Nice hotel, a little old, but they have made the effort to make it look nice and upgraded to flat screen TV’s. They have a cold breakfast, not too bad. The bed was alright, not the best, but not bad by any means. Price was just right, I think we paid right around 78 with a TXDOT discount. The guys that had contracted us the work switched for a better rate to the Ramada Inn up the street and they said that was a bad move. The tv’s were bad and the cable connection was fuzzy (we were watching nfl playoffs too so I would have been pretty pissed off about that) slow internet and about the same rooms. I think they may have even said they didn’t have breakfast. (dont quote me on that though) Overall this is a pretty good pick if your blowing through Waco. Drive up the street and go to Elite Circle Grill… You wont regret it!!!
