I checked prices online before going to Sear’s, and they had tons of options for cheap pictures. I wanted to get some pictures of my daughter in her costume for Halloween. Apparently, I have «sucker» written all over my forehead, because from the moment I stepped foot in the place, the lady was trying to get me to buy a lot more than what I wanted.
There was a nice girl taking our pictures initially, but then the other lady came in and kept tickling my daughter and telling her to look at her, which my daughter was not having. She was scaring the crap out of her. They started by taking pictures in the outfit she was wearing when we came in, not her Halloween costume, so by the time she changed, she was over taking any pictures (hey, she’s only 20 months old!)
When it finally got to looking at the pictures, the 2 employees were showing me packages that were $ 300 and over. All I came in for were some Halloween pics for the family. I asked if I could just buy a few sheets, and they said yes. It was going to be around $ 60 + a $ 10 fee to not pay sitting fees for the next year.
I asked if they would print the pics on site, but they said no, they would be ready November 6 (today is Oct 26), but I could get them in store for $ 5 more/​sheet.
At that point I was pretty fed up and asked how much the sitting fee was so we could pay that and leave. That’s when the lady finally asked what they could do to keep our business. I told her she was pushy and we would not be coming back.
They did not mention ANY of the offers from online (and the ads in store). If you plan on buying pictures at this Sear’s, be prepared to be oversold on stuff you don’t want.

Had to get some quick pictures for a Christmas present, they print up to 8×10 here on site instantly for about $ 8 per sheet.
