Meet the Business Owner

Patrick O.

Business Owner

Patrick O’Neill has over 23 years of business experience. After graduating from the University of Akron with a B.S. in Accounting, he went right into public accounting. Soon after, he became the Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of a publicly held electronics manufacturing company. He planned, organized, and implemented all financial policies including the property, casualty, and health insurance plans.

In 1990, Patrick joined The Mark Agency as Vice President. In July of 1991, he acquired the Bob Hart Insurance Agency. In 1993, he acquired 100% interest in The Mark Agency. In January of 1994, the two organizations merged with Patrick as President of the largest agency in Wadsworth. In 1995, the name of the agency was changed to The O’Neill Group.

Patrick holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations. He is also a Charter Member of the National Society of Agents for Consumer Education (NSACE).
