I am military and was referred to this office for a routine cleaning. Nice office appearance for a small operation. The front desk ladies are very pleasant. The female hygienist I had was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable. The problem comes when she was flossing my teeth. She was very rough, which I don’t mind, but she detached my permanent retainer from 3 teeth because of it. She then proceeds to tell me that it happened because it was already not attached; hard to believe since I’ve had at least 4 full dental exams since my last major issue with this and nothing was reported. To be fair, the appliance is problematic. I had a similar issue about 3 years ago; received a similar excuse too, although I had not had an issue with the appliance in the almost 10 years leading up to that. No solution was offered or attempt made to correct the mistake. The dentist himself was polite but overall seemed very disinterested in attempting to correct the issue. I was simply referred back to the post dental clinic. If you have delicate dental work or require a soft touch in your mouth I would NOT go to this office. Good appearance but mediocre to almost unhelpful service.

My dentist for over 7 years since retiring from USAF. Dr Ishihara and his staff have done wonders for a guy who is lazy when it comes to flossing, blah!
Their awesome dental work, keeping with latest technology, and advice has made a immense difference in my life, healthier teeth and gums!
I enjoy truly semi-​annual dentist visit, always very pleasant. and we enjoy ono brownies from infamous Kilani Bakery afterwards ;).
