We came to this L&L because we were in Wailuku, that was a totally wrong decision we made. It’s the usual order a plate lunch you wait while it’s cooked and then you mops. But first off there was a grumpy older gentleman who helped us. He had no customer service. Made no communication with us. So already I was upset. It was two easy things to make a regular short ribs and a mini chicken katsu. We were the only ones in line. So really not that hard to make at all if you’re only making two things. It took over ten minutes to make our food I was fine with that. So he put our food in a take out box then gave it to us. When I got to the truck I noticed I didn’t have Katsu sauce. So I had to run back in the restaurant to get it, by then there was a line. I told a girl that came to the front I needed katsu sauce she was friendly and said sorry. When I started to eat the chicken katsu it was really dry I had two pieces and threw it away. The short ribs was also junk too… Go some where else if your in wailuku. Sorry for leaving a negative review I don’t like to but things should change.

I really hate the customer service here. Especially this fat, dark and short filipino girl working here. Be aware of her.(Bad customer service)

The staff here was very anxious to help my family and I, with more than one staff member approaching us to ask if we were ready to order. Our food was conveniently placed in a cardboard box«to go» and we were provided with utensils and napkins. Upon arriving home we ate our food, and after finishing my beef choy sum(I’m pretty sure that’s what it was called) I found an unidentifiable bug laying in the au jus. I knew the risk when I ordered a dish with leafy greens. but on some level I expect any food establishment to do a thorough job washing their veggies. Overall even though I like L&L and their service is decent I probably won’t be eating there again for awhile. If anything, I’d recommend others to eat at the L&L in Ka’ahumanu shopping center because it’s cleaner and the food is tastier(and creature free!)
