We understand rules and regulations and yes our car was inspected and failed due to engine lights. We had to get our car problems fixed but of course, we are in Hawaii time, dealership took a month to schedule our car due to nature of the problems and another two weeks to get it finally fixed. So I went back to Patao to get the inspection corrected but only find out that we have surpassed the 30 days notice but to «Failed» again but only to say «registration» but I was charged another $ 20 without being told afterwards. So, rules and regulations apparently just happened to come up, stickers needed to be removed from the rare windows. From what we see, living and driving in Hawaii, there are stickers in most cars whether it is personal or commercial vehicles. My point is Patao is bias to whom they «pass» inspection to and please understand, we followed rules and regulations but only to pay the consequences in double the amount. Which I don’t even want to discuss the amount payed to the dealership and yet to find out what DMV will charge for Registrations.
