For anything trailer related, definitely go to Spectrum! We’ve gotten everything from
installing a hitch to installing lights. JC is knowledgable and gets the job done! Very impressed with her work and we know to go to her first before anyone else. If they dont have the part, they’ll get the part! Friendly and reliable service. Well done Spectrum!

I bought a trailer for my 17.5′ McKee, replacing one that was more than 30 years old.
Mike and Jacey pretty much nailed the dimensions right-​on. Everything was nicely rigged. I just had to make a few small adjustments in the bunks supporting the hull.
The two-​speed winch makes it a breeze to crank the boat in, and tightly snub the boat up against the bow roller. I used to power it in, but won’t be doing that anymore. I don’t have to.
And this drives a LOT nicer than the old trailer. Torsion suspension is solid. No more dancing around at freeway speeds. I was never comfortable pulling the old one around and had to remain constantly alert for the first signs of any oscillations.
Very friendly. And they took the time to explain everything thoroughly.

I don’t usually write reviews, but wanted to take a couple minutes to say thank you to Mike at SPECTRUM TRAILERS. I bought a boat with a «problem» trailer last year. All sorts of stuff was wrong with it including; lights, wiring, brakes, jack etc. I have been unable to pass a safety check to register the trailer, because Hawaii is now enforcing all the requirements to be legal. It’s no longer an «easy» pass.
I brought the trailer in and was greeted by Mike, the owner, and he began to explain that many people are facing the same problem. I was worried that the job would be more than I could afford, but my main concern was to be LEGAL and safe. Mike gave me multiple options and friendly advice. I came back a few hours later and my trailer was finished! Solid work at an affordable price (I could not have done it myself for any less money). So stoked! This shop is full of Aloha!
I got home and blew out a tire, lame. I called the shop and JC (the LEGEND) told me they didn’t have it in stock, but would call around to find one for me. Talk about customer service! I got a new tire the next morning and was on the water.
So happy I found Spectrum Trailers. They will have my business for life! I will recommend them to all my friends!

These guys build and repair trailers, and they sell supplies. They seem pretty knowledgeable and friendly, but they are hella expensive, and they often seem to be one short of what you need. need 4 U-​bolts? They have 3. Need 2 new hubs? Sorry; only one in stock. My trailer supply sequence on Oahu is 1: internet, 2: Hawaii Spring Supply, 3: Spectrum Trailers, 4: West Marine
