Established in 2011.
Located in historic Waitsfield, Vermont, Pizza in the Valley started as a collaboration between a couple of friends. We offer authentic New York style pizza to the Mad River Valley. A culinary team with diverse training and common interests come together to create a unique blend of flavors and dishes from a unique pizzeria.

Growing up on the Jersey shore I had two passions — Pizza and Yankee Baseball. In 2003, I sold my home on the Navasink River and left my job as a lithographer in the metro area to pursue my other two passions — the Green Mountains and skiing. As only destiny could dictate, it was here that I reconnected with an old friend from the shore (James). In the years since, James has gone on to open his first pizzeria. I produced one of Vermont’s finest products as a Mix Maker at Ben & Jerry’s. After seven years there it was time for me to get back to my roots! I had a dream. James had an idea. And after several beers and not seven years, the idea of ‘Pizza in the Valley’ was developed! A locally owned, New York style pizzeria, specific to the Mad River Valley, that offers a delicious product.
