Love this store! Stylish clothing not available in other stores in the area. Both my daughter and I have purchased things for ourselves and great gifts here. Mary and Mak is also very convenient to other places I need to go in Wake Forest. The service has always been excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly but still give you space. This boutique is always my first stop in Wake Forest!

I’ve been shopping at this fabulous boutique since it opened, along with my daughter. We both absolutely love it! Mary & Mak is such a wonderful addition to Wake Forest! We were so happy when it opened. It has great finds for everyone looking for gifts, gameday wear, cute outfits and various price ranges! The sales and promotions are tremendous. The owners and staff are always so accommodating! If you are looking for something in particular, they will try to find it for you. The girls have been very helpful when we go. Their Instagram and Twitter pages help us know what is new in stock. My daughter will quickly update me on what she wants. I find things I love, too! You can order online with free shipping if you are not local. They are truly awesome. And I love talking with the owners. They are so friendly and down to earth! They are all about their business and making the customer happy! I was just in today and had the best time. I was there to shop, but enjoyed the company. I stayed for a while, just catching up! Wake Forest is fortunate to have Mary & Mak!

Wow– just wow. I have been wanting to stop into this boutique and finally popped in yesterday. I walked in and was the only customer in the store and I said hello and smiled at two women working at the front. They did not smile, say hello in return and continued to stare at me for at least a full minute. And I mean stare. I was so unnerved I finally smiled and asked if everything was ok and one just leaned over to the other and whispered something. Like a teenager. My mouth about hit the floor. I walked out. In my 35 years this is by far one of the worst customer experiences in my life. I will never go back. Having worked in retail for many years this absolutely horrified me. Don’t like to help people and greet them? DON’T OPEN A RETAIL STORE.
