I also have had a bad experience. These people only want to turn over adoptions, as quick as they can, no questions asked.
They are hypocritical in that they ask you to bring family members but when they need a a day or two for them to get off work, they refuse to give you any leeway!
I had questions and concerns about their lack of transparency and Molly said she was adopting the dog ‚(I had been promised and had an appointment to pick up,) to the next person on his waiting list! ! Because I had questions and concerns! And, no, don’t ever expect to speak to someone via phone, ever! Email only!
I don’t believe they are non profit. For what they charge,$ 350, and as quick as they send
dogs out, it’s about profit, I think. They certainly don’t care about people making the“right” decision for the dog or the. Adopters.
I’ve never had such a bad experience with a rescue group.

After hearing a bunch of customers at my work recommenced this organization, I decided to put in an application. I learned that they are actually a farm and let the dogs roam free instead of being crated all day or fostered for the most part. The application was simple to fill out. They contacted me within a day and invited me to meet their dogs. I fell in love with 2 of them and got to take one of them home within less than a week! She is the perfect dog I was looking for! She is healthy and spunky. I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt a dog. They made the whole adoption process a pleasant one and it encouraged me to do it again someday. They communicate only by email though.

This place is outstanding. We have had our rescue for 8 months now, and he is 100% the right fit for our family. My husband and I grew up with dogs and he is the best dog we have ever had.
What makes Saving Grace special? I am going to emphasize how important it is to find the right dog for you. Meghan and the volunteer team know their dogs. They will match your individual lifestyle and energy level to a short-​list of dogs. I had been obsessively searching adult dogs to adopt online and went in with my own list based on profiles. Do not just read profiles and want to chat with some one here. You need to visit. Rescues have an ever-​changing line-​up. They are also dependent on volunteers to update the site– it is easier to come in and meet the experts and dogs. After talking with Colleen and Trish, we met an entirely different set of dogs from my list– partially because some of the dogs were already adopted. All the dogs on their list were amazing. To Illustrate why to trust the experts: I initially wanted an adult dog. We adopted a 9 month old, but he has the right temperament for us. I am used to big dogs. He is only 50 lbs. I was initially hesitant about a Rottweiler-​looking mix and associated misconceptions about aggressiveness. Our beautiful black and tan mutt is the sweetest most gentle dog ever. We call him soft-​mouth. Before adopting, we visited twice and what really sealed the deal was Meghan. She truly loves and knows the dogs. We plan on having kids and she demonstrated just how gentle our dog is and emphasizing how much love he has for all the other animals and all sized humans. This has turned out to be 100% accurate. He has been around many infants and toddlers and acted with flying colors. When he’s regularly given treats for sitting and laying down for our toddler neighbor, he uses his delicate soft-​mouth to get treats in the most hilariously gently way possible– sometimes with just a little sliver of his tongue. Of course, you should visit ready to adopt, but we definitely felt they prepared us to be guardians of a new pet.

Great place to adopt a dog. These dogs are rescued from dire conditions and then trained and cared for so you can have the perfect new furry family member. Lease come see this place. It will change you and maybe even realize how many thousands of dogs need saving. I wish there were more places like this! Please rescue!!!

We adopted a 4 yr old four months ago and she has made us so happy. she was already crate trained. Saving Grace does an amazing job with these little animals who need a home. I would highly recommend getting a homeless animal from them anytime.

This was a great place to find a new member of your family. We were looking for a companion for a one year-​old female Chinook. The facility had multiply areas for the dog to interact. We brought our dog to help us make a decision. The assistant stayed over an hour late to help us make the choice and complete all of the paperwork. I whole heart recommend Saving Grace for adopting a dog into your family.

Such a wonderful place to rescue a dog! The process of finding just the right dog was very easy and they took the time to answer all of our questions. I’ve volunteered there and the other volunteers were really great folks! Molly and staff are very knowledgeable. I didn’t just leave the shelter with a dog, I left feeling very prepared to be the best doggie parent I could be thanks to all the information they had for us!

Oh my, this is really the home of an angel who rescues animals– mostly dogs that are in dire need. I discovered them through the search site
because a little guy popped up on my computer. Molly let us visit twice (along with our other dog) until we were sure we just could not walk away from our new little family member. We love our little dog and are so appreciative that Molly and Saving Grace does the work they do. Seriously devoted to helping and placing these well deserved, they make sure they are all healthy when you adopt… and don’t miss Arnold the (huge!!!) rescued pig that lives there!
