Colonial Point Apts

I moved into my apartment at Colonial Point over a year ago. I am satisfied with my experience living here. The apartments are unbelieveably quiet which I LOVE. There are no paper thin walls here which is something I struggled with in previous apartment buildings. There are two washers and two dryers on every floor. There is an indoor pool which has been repaired and has been operating all summer. Plenty of visitor parking. Assigned tenant parking. Beautiful grounds. There is a trash shoot on every floor. Hallways are well maintained. Nice looking lobby. On site management office. I have always been treated respectfully by management and maintainence staff. Never any problems. Most of the tenants seem to have lived here for many years. The majority of them complain constantly. Interestingly, they never move out. I don’t quite understand that. I don’t think many of them have experienced a truly bad management company. From my 15 yrs renting on the North Shore, I can tell you that Carrabetta isn’t even close to the horror I have experienced with past management companies. I find them to be quite reasonable. It’s an older building and things go wrong. I find they address matters in a reasonable amount of time. If I had to comment on anything negative it would be about the gym and tennis courts. The gym is ridiculous. Machines are very old and obsolete. Not much weight training equipment either. If management updated the gym with some elipticals it would make a big difference. Also, the tennis courts do not have any nets. I think this would provide a nice ammenity, but instead it is just wasted space. The apartments themselves are really nice. Very spacious. Central air is very nice in the summer time. They just installed brand new windows in each unit. The view is great from my apartment. I would absolutely recommend living at Colonial Point.
