Pretty sweet spot to hang out and read. Lots of space to sit and spots to charge your phone. I’m not gonan lie, I came here to get out of the cold while waiting for nearby garage to finish work on my friend’s car. There were lots of new books and graphic novels. Killed a ton of time while reading graphic novels. I walked around and saw a lot of new books they got in in the front, and there were lots.

Love this place. Lots of puzzles and great books. I love that the kids section is separate from the rest of the library so that if the kids get loud, we’re not a bother to the rest of the patron.

I am from Vermont and just the fact that this library was open on Sunday was amazing to me. I really enjoyed my visit. There were comfortable chairs in a number of locations, nice chilly AC, functioning wifi and a lot of books to poke around and look at. The library has an old part and a new part so is at once both classic and spacious. Parking was easy even though they don’t have a designated parking area and it’s right in the middle of downtown Wakefield which is fun to poke around in. The bee motif is cute and fun and I look forward to getting to come back here again.

The Beebe Library is great because it’s a library, and well, all libraries are great. Where else can you go and they lend you something for free? In addition, this library is part of the Noblenet system, which means you can borrow just about any book that exists from any nearby library and they deliver to the Beebe and have it ready for you at the Front Desk. It’s like a concierge! And, they just upgraded the online ordering system(June 2012), so it’s better than ever. You can rent best sellers for a dollar, so you don’t have to wait, and same goes for many DVDs as well. It’s a beautiful, spacious libary and if you live in Wakefield, you are missing out if you don’t partake! It’s in the center of town, so next time you are out running errands, stop in for a minute. Also, for summer 2012 they just announced evening summer hours for July and August — plus they host weekly jazz concerts!
