Specialties
My Saddle Brook Farm is a full service riding facility conveniently located between Routes 84, 87 and 17K in the historic Hudson Valley. We offer English and Western Riding Lessons by appointment 7 days a week. Private and group instruction is available for children and adults.
We maintain a variety of lesson horses so we can offer each student an appropriate mount. Whether you’ve been riding for years or have never ridden before, My Saddle Brook Farm will have an instructor and a horse that’s right for you.
We welcome horse enthusiasts of any level, from first-time riders to advanced students interested in showing. Novice riders begin with private ½ hour lessons and may join a group when they have mastered the basic skills required for riding with others.
Discount lesson packages are available. For those wishing to pursue riding further, we offer lease options, sales and boarding of private horses.
We do pony parties. We can either host a party here at our establishment, or we can come to your home. Please call us to inquire about pony parties, for a birthday your child will never forget.
We welcome people traveling with horses; we have box stalls for your horses, a round pen to stretch their legs, and miles of trails to ride on.
Each year we produce a small crop of warmblood foals bred to perform in the dressage, jumper or hunter arenas. We often have mature riding horses for sale as well.

We would like you to read our filtered reviews. If you go to the bottom of the first page you will see there are 39 filtered reviews as of 10÷15÷13. 27 of them are five start reviews. My Saddle Brook Farm began in 2006 as a horse training and boarding facility. Our primary goal, at that time, was to teach lessons and provide a low key and enjoyable environment for horses and their owners. It did not take long before people and organizations began contacting us regarding their rescue situations. Our very first horse was, in fact, our first rescue. Brook was a sweet thoroughbred mare who had just had a baby. Brook was starving and, within a week on our farm, put on over 100 pounds. She stayed with us until she passed away from old age. Since then, our facility has taken in everything from dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, alpacas, llamas, cows and an emu. As long as we can afford to feed and care for them, no animal is turned away.
