There is a hit or miss with customer service but my experience wasn’t so bad as to leave a low review. There is a decent selection of clothing. The dress section can be a little more organized but that could be due to customers. The home décor is always fun to look at. I mean overall this is what can be expected at a Ross. I wouldn’t say I would go major shopping here but I wouldn’t mind picking up a few things here and there.

I really like their stuff here, especially clothes and house décor. But i can’t stand coming here anymore, because they close the fitting rooms 2 hours before they close. There’s no valid reason to close them 2 hours before. I can understand 15 – 20 minutes before they close, but 2 hours seriously? I can never shop early cause I work all day and evening. I’m constantly stuck buying and returning clothes because I don’t get a chance to try them on here in the store.

The staff here works hard to keep the store organized, but Ross customers can be pretty cruddy about helping them out. For the most part, I always enjoy coming to this Ross location. There’s a good selection and the staff is mostly helpful. Mostly. While doing some last minute gift shopping the day before Christmas I could feel my large green tea from Panera Bread coming back to haunt me. I knew I was going to have to make a pit stop, so i rushed over to the fitting room area to use the rest room. When I got back there a woman completely disregarded my presence and continued to carry on her phone conversation. I walked around her and knocked on the restroom door. Since the door was locked, I assumed the restroom was occupied. I waited. And waited. And WAITED. Meanwhile the dressing room attendant is still on the phone. About 10 minutes goes by. I turn to her and ask if she thinks some one may be ill or hurt in the restroom. She proceeds to THROWMETHEKEY!!! I’m like WTF lady?! I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes and you just now give me the key??? I didn’t have time to argue. It was an EMERGENCYYYYYY! I unlock the door in record speed. The bathroom is FILTHY. Just gross. I’m not sure how often it is cleaned or if it is someone’s responsibility on staff to do so but it was very very bad. The trash was overflowing and the floor was brown and wet with clumps of tissue all over the place(likely because it has been raining all day). Here’s the kicker: I hadn’t even been in there for 5 seconds and someone knocks on the door. I yell, «someone’s in here!» Another knock. «This restroom is OCCUPIED!!!» Another knock. «I SAID somebody IS. IN. HERE!» *Silence” (*I’m using the restroom by this point*) *Police officer-like door banging* «HOLYSMOKESWHATDOYOUWANT!!!» I’m scrambling to get myself together and wash my hands. I promise I had only take a couple of minutes. I hadn’t taken any merchandise into the bathroom with me so there was no reason to think I was trying to shoplift. I walk out the bathroom OUTRAGED! «What’s the problem!!!» I shout. There’s another customer standing there, as well as someone waiting to get a number for the fitting room. «It was the fitting room attending banging like that!,» the first woman says bewildered. «I told her I could wait, but she truly went off the deep end with all that knocking.» I hand the woman the key and go to the register to wait in line. The fitting room attended has disappeared into thin air. Hopefully, if nature calls again while I’m out shopping I won’t have to answer at Ross lol.

I love going to this place for my daughters. I have gone here for everyone of my oldest daughters homecoming and her 8th grade dance. I have always found a dress that was under $ 40. They don’t look cheap, are of good quality, and to this day my oldest still has most of the dresses!!! I like going here because you can find that one dress that no one has or if they do, they paid a lot more than $ 40 bucks for it. She has alway had complements on her dresses over the years. For my youngest this was her first homecoming and she looked beautiful. Her dress was only $ 30 bucks. It looks like something that came out of a high end store or consignment shop. The best advice I can give is go in the morning when no one is there.

Was there yesterday and witnessed a cashier being extremely rude to a customer. He told her that she was being disrespectful to him(she said to him«I did not call you up here so get back in line») and she continued to carry on and got loud with him, even rolling her neck and pointing. Then, she stopped checking people out altogether even though the line was long and there were only 3 cashiers working. The saddest part was that her manager was right there beside her the entire time and did not say a word. All the other people in line were shocked and felt that the cashier was absolutely wrong. But the manager seemed timid and afraid to speak up and she just let her employee behave in a nasty manner towards and customer and then let her storm out of the store leaving a long line behind. I consider this a poorly run store with horrible customer service.

This place is a mess and lines are usually long to check out, but I will tell you this they normally carry better stuff than TJ Maxx in Waldorf. It’s worth the hassle… most of the time.
