Love this place. I come every Wednesday. Great food and great music. $ 1 natty lights. Awesome.

Great fresh pizza and awesome service– added plus of decent craft beers. Would return and recommend to family and friends. We didn’t try their sandwiches or salads or wings– more reason to come back.

This is their second store! The food is great & Chad and staff are awesome! Great beer selection in bottles. They have draught beer at the original store located in Fair Play, SC! If you’re lucky, you’ll get to hear Chad sing while making pies.

if you want good tasty food with fresh ingredients, this is the place
however it may take an hour — so not a quick in and out lunch place — better for dinner when you have time — not a quick place to bring the kids after ‘the game’ — better for reunion of friends around a beer with good food and relaxed timing
wait staff generally good with periodic refills as you wait but not informative on meal progress

Have loved this place since they opened. Introduced, recommended and brought so many people to eat here. But one night recently the owner went crazy! While my husband was out in the car the owner said in a kind voice that he wanted to talk to me about something. He opened the storage closet door and stepped in to have me come in. Then he proceeded to my shock and horror of accusing us of all sorts of bad behavior in his restaurant about a month ago that was untrue!!! I tried to explain to him that it was clearly a misunderstanding and he would not stop to listen. He had his mind set and it was to let me have it!!! I did all I could to keep my composure and politely responded. How did I feel? Emotionally violated, manipulated and threatened. I am a 59 yr. old Christian, wife and mother of 2. Haven’t had a speeding ticket in 32 yrs. What is wrong with this young man to act in such a completely disrespectful manner to one of his long standing customers, to take a lady aside and assail her while her husband is outside… I do not know. My husband called him and tried to talk with him, but, Chad, the owner would not hear of it. Chad continued his rant with my husband as well. I just hope that no one else who patronizes this business falls victim to Chad’s anger and unreasonability. I know we won’t, because after years of loving eating at Carolina Pizza Company, we can never go back. A very, very sad and disappointing day,

THE ABSOLUTE MOST PITIFUL DINING EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
Chad, the owner, claimed rather pointedly that we came in on a prior Friday night and banged on the counter and demanded a table… Blah, Blah, Blah… took a table from seated customers… Blah, Blah, Blah… (This went on for quite a while, with Chad getting in about 90 words to every 10 of mine)
Now, I’m an old guy, but a very reasonable one… I have never pounded on a restaurant table with demands in my life. I have had concerns and misunderstandings with people before in my many years of dining… Never an exchange where the owner just refuses to listen… Never an encounter where the owner couldn’t say something like «I’m sorry if we had a misunderstanding, you are a great customer, and we will work this out»; etc… Never an exchange where I was not given at least some benefit of the doubt…
Perhaps I misunderstood. Maybe Chad was having a bad night. I have eaten there many many dozens of times. I can’t think of a way that I will be back, but like I said, I’m a reasonable guy.

I really wanted to give a better rating, but we just waited way too long for our food. We ordered and Greek salad and margarita pizza. The food was great, our server was nice (and did great considering she was pregnant!), but she was overwhelmed and the kitchen was slow. I would recommend coming when it’s not so busy. We got in about 7pm… ordered 10−15mins later. We got our food about 7:50. A little too long for a pizza place I think. Food was good though.

First let me say, I am HAPPY you are here. There is a place at Surfside we have to go to on vacation, and you are very equal to them, that my family is excited. Tonight I had the Tree Hugger and Great White… superb!!! And the large pizza is NOT small by any means. Thank you for your great service and I wish you longevity and success!!!

Love love love Carolina Pizza in downtown Walhalla, SC. Quantity and quality are fabulous. I love the large tree bigger and large legend. The owner even sings which makes it an even better visit.
