Very cute little Italian eatery in Walla Walla. I had the tagliatelle, my sister had the gnocchi (which was prepared in a different way than you’d typically expect, it was grilled…) and my mom had the Pappardelle. All were excellent, the tagliatelle was my favorite. Friendly and prompt service. We come here every time we are in Walla Walla.

Our server John is truly a great server… unfortunately the kitchen may have not been able to accommodate the crowd tonight. Food was wonderful great flavors. Wine choices were excellent.
Spent 1 ½−2 waiting for our food. I was full from the starter and length of time waiting I didn’t eat my entrée.
Although we waited so long… you were a wonderful server John.

Delicious Italian food, excellent service, classy décor. We had a very enjoyable meal here. Definitely recommend the pasta, and of course the wine. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and the wines. Highly recommend and will be back.

We went here for lunch the other day and really enjoyed sitting on the patio. I had the Porchetta Sandwich and thought the combo of crispy Porchetta, a fried egg, and the sauce was delicious — I wou do definitely order it again! The Ahi Tuna Salad with ginger was also yummy!
We also tried the crème brûlée for dessert — yum!

Terrible service. Food was good but our waitress had so much attitude. The only reason I gave two stars is because of their dessert was delicious. I won’t recommend this place

Made a reservation for dinner– a place we have usually enjoyed in the past. Found the food WAY over salted and the service in genuine and slow. I ordered the Cioppino. I think is was lacking in seafood for the price. Plus the sauce was WAY too salty. Did I mention that? Hmmm. Not sure I’ll chance it next time, for the price.

We are here right now and can’t get a drink to save our lives! Service is awful. Can’t comment on the food yet as we have been waiting over 45 minutes for just our soup to arrive. Luckily it’s a nice evening and we are sitting outside on the patio but it would be much nicer with a glass of wine or q cocktail. We are bummed as we were looking forward to a nice dinner and glass of wine. And as we are still waiting… It’s gone from bad to worse. We have seen 4 different «servers» around us but the gal who took our order over an hour ago is MIA. We are getting the check and leaving!

Ate there today (4÷28÷16). Not half as good as it was 6 – 7 years ago. Ignoring the hair (long haired cat?) in the food as stuff happens, both our entrees were meh. Homemade pasta was fine but meatballs were a bit dense for our taste.
Desserts were a disaster. Basil whipped cream was ruined by too much basil and the color of my first beater volvo making the heavy balsamic strawberries look plopped in frog purée. The berry tart was slightly better but was too sweet tasting exactly like Trix cereal (Trix is my tummy guilty camping pleasure). Lastly, coffee was a disappointment, no espresso so we went with the not too fresh-​roasted drip.
Service was a half step above I-​couldnt-​care-​less.

Terrible service, food was mediocre. So
disappointed as I heard people rave and rave about this place. I was disappointed because the atmosphere made me think it was going to be great. Unfortunately our waitress was more into texting and flirting at the bar than taking care of my family. Too bad more attention wasn’t given to our table it made it a really long dinner, because of the slow service. Cioppino is one of my favorite dishes… it came cold. I’ve eaten it all over the country and was very bummed. Def. in my bottom two experiences in that dish. Too bad because the flavor had promise, broth should be piping hot. Our appetizer was
OK signature Mac and Cheese. Nothing special. I could make that dish. My dessert was a pretentious strawberry shortcake and it was drab. Mine came with zero strawberry balsamic sauce. Three others at the table looked amazing. So a dry biscuit and dry strawberries with no sauce was lame. The waitress brought a balsamic reduction sauce that looked like it was for meat or salad :(. Obviously didn’t eat it, but she was too busy with the boys at the bar to give a crap. I won’t be back. Too expensive. I’m not afraid to dump money on a good dinner, but our experience won’t merit a return.

Walla Walla is full of great local restaurants. Today we had the pleasure of experiencing this restaurant in downtown Walla Walla. It is right off Main Street near Macy’s. Enjoying the beautiful weather we decided to eat out on the sidewalk which was a wonderful experience. I had the meatball sandwich which was superb. My lunch partner had a pasta dish, I’m sorry I can’t remember the name, and it was excellent as well. Friendly service, very nice atmosphere and I can highly recommend this restaurant. The price may be a step above the ordinary lunch fare but it is well worth it. I will be back

Limited menu for lunch, but it was good. Meatball sub and strawberry shortcake, both home made. The service was top notch. Decent wine, beer and spirits menu. Salad was good.

Imagine a spot where the place is named after the owner (Tommy Macarrone, a local Walla Walla dude) with a urban flair of style indicative of a downtown scene all connected to a down home city vibe that says, «I’m from here, and this is how we dine.»
Do yourself a favor, especially if it’s just the two of too, and sit at the bar and let Matt, the legendary craft cocktail curator, make you up something that suits the sassiest part of your personality and entertains you with the history of the drink.
TMacarrone’s a super sexy spot to explore and have fun, consume epic food with beverages that will make your heart skip a beat.

A disappointment.
Staff with just a touch of attitude, and bland food.
Attractive modern décor. Saggy seats — time to redo the chairs?
Some issues with HVAC– at one point the kitchen seemed to vent into the upper dining area.
Dry pork shank– which takes effort, or a lack thereof, with a braised dish– on a slab of tasteless polenta.
Pappardelle with ragu seemed lost in a sauce where the meats had been ground together and added to a cream base rather than cooked, shredded and a sauce created from the simmer stock.
Good pear salad and interesting tomato bisque– which had sat so long before coming to the table that it had developed a surface. Not bad enough to send back, but noticed.

Friendly service, excellent food and nice atmosphere. It was our anniversary and our waitress was back with a couple of small portion of Spumanti in 10 seconds flat. Shrimp appetizer had a kick, but manageable for my «wimpy» wife. We also had a salmon carpaccio with fennel that was very refreshing. Actually a pretty good pairing.
We had a delicious salmon, sustainably farmed in BC, with a crispy polenta and topped with crispy spaghetti squash, which I had never experienced before and is definitely really cool. I also loved the tagliatelle, rough cut just in case you wondered if it was made in-​house. I give it a 5 rather than a 4 for the price point being pretty good for the level of cuisine.

Only one check in here? I’ve been to T Mac’s at least half a dozen times, it seems before I was regularly checking in on Unilocal.For pasta and warm wintry braised meat sauces, this is a fantastic choice.
A cold, foggy winter evening brought us to to the warm dining room at T. Mac. Comfortable seating, good local Walla Walla wine, and friendly service put us at ease.
There is a nice selection of cocktails to get you started, along with a variety of tempting appetizers. We settled on grilled octopus in a mildly spicy tomato sauce with capers and olives, and some good fresh bread to soak up the sauce. Good start.
A couple of salads next include an interesting pear salad with mixed greens, pine nuts and a white truffle vinaigrette. Parmesan shavings on top were a nice salty counterpoint to the creamy dressing. We also split an autumn salad with roasted butternut squash.
The main event was mostly house made pasta. When we arrived, our server mentioned a daily special; house made ravioli with braised beef cheeks. There are only two appetizer portions left, or one main dish. Set that aside for us please! The ravioli were delicious, a little toothy from the homemade pasta, with a rich tomato sauce and that soft braised beef. To cut the richness of the beef was an herby lemon gremolata. Arugula salad accompanied the pasta dressed in a lemony vinaigrette for a nice match.
House made pappardelle with a slow cooked beef bolognese is comfort food at its best. The braised pork shank, a dish that has been on the menu for the five years or so that I’ve been coming here, stays on the menu for a reason. Slow cooked pork, served on a crispy polenta cake with braised greens. Eat slowly and enjoy every bite.
Finally the gnocchi with lamb is another comfort food classic. House made gnocchi were boiled then pan fried to get a little crisp texture. Slightly browned on the outside, soft on the inside, this one step for texture adds a lot to the finished dish. Served with a tomato sauce and slow braised shredded lamb and grated Parmesan, this is hearty winter food to follow a day on the slopes, or a cold winter night in wine country.
I’ve gone back and forth in my opinion on this restaurant over the years. Our first experience was great, the last couple of times just okay. I’ve been wavering on my rating, but our most recent visit was great so the «what have you done for me lately» experience merits a 5.

I came here before a Shakespeare play recently and sat outside on the sidewalk. You know, pretending like I was in Paris, but not.
Since time was limited, we ordered the grilled octopus starter and a Sangria. The octopus was in a tomato-​based sauce that was light but spicy (in a good way). I shared this but definitely could have eaten the whole thing myself. I also had a few bites of the antipasto (spelled according to their menu) that one of my tablemates had ordered. Wow, taste sensations galore. If you are looking for a light snack, that would definitely be my vote.
The Sangria (red) was of high quality.

Let me get the chinks outa the way. Our reservation was for 6:45. They were already out of 2 prosecco’s. Mussels. Halibut. Seriously. I know you have a big concert rolling into town next weekend but stock up?!
Meanwhile, the tuna, pappardelle and tagliatelle was off the charts good.

Get:
Macaronni & Cheese appetizer ($ 13)
Running off the fumes of memories of a stop at T. Mac years ago — my wife and I tucked into a corner spot near the bar of this fancy-​schmancy restaurant (easily detectible by bowls that look like plates yet carry tiny portions).
Service was excellent and, eyeballing other diners, the service was consistent throughout and across all servers /​hosts.
The food did not match our loving memory. It may have been wearing the same fancy outfit, but the occupant of the clothing was a bit of a putz. Since we’re cheap, we ordered three inexpensive items: Macaronni and Cheese appetizer (our most specific memory of the venue), Sweet Onion soup ($ 10) (try and find an onion that is NOT sweet in Walla Walla — fun game), and the Pear Salad ($ 11).
Portion + taste + value did not equal a great score as only the Macaronni was above average — and even so, it wasn’t life altering. The soup was fine and the salad was fine, but what stood out? Presentation perhaps — but the taste was just mid-​level. And when paying the price of 2 flights of wine tastings for a small portion of soup, I would hope that my shoes and socks get shot across the room with a flavor explosion.
Positives: Incredible service, good presentation, clean facility
Negatives: Underperforming taste vs. value

Dining at T-Mac’s was not a good experience. The restaurant was hot and the
waitstaff was poorly trained. Even given the small wine list, the waitress could not answer the most basic questions. When we asked about the rose, she told us that she didn’t know what it was like as she was new — as if that was an excuse for being unhelpful. She did not offer to get someone else to explain it.
And then the food… I started with the Beet salad which was a good size but largely tasteless. It had beets and goat cheese but it appeared that there was little else.
I looked forward to trying the Scallops with risotto and black truffle; I always like a good risotto and I LOVE truffles. Really?! I should have known the truffles were not present (although assured by the waitress that they were) as the dish cost only $ 36. The scallops were good but the risotto was flavorless and the truffles failed to appear.

Had a nice dinner. They were so accommodating to my veggie ways! Wonderful pasta primavera was the result.
The service was beyond excellent, especially so considering it was a super busy Sat. night.
The only downer (cost 1 star) was that there was no air conditioning. The dining room was stifling and made a lazy, relaxed dining experience more of a rush and get outside where these is a breeze one. I hope that is an aberration and not the norm.
