Our Smoky Mountain campground makes a perfect base camp for your tour of the area. Stay with us while you go hiking on the Appalachian Trail, horseback riding in the Smoky Mountains, or caving at nearby Tuckaleechee Caverns. Ride the Tail of the Dragon that is only 18 miles from our campground. Come enjoy the Campgrounds in the Townsend TN area and the Quite Side of the Mountain.

One of the nicest camp grounds that I have stayed at! Lots of bathroom/​showers which were very clean and well taken care of. Neat little laundry area and arcade. There is a pool and hot tub but they appeared to be closed so I didn’t get to experience them. The lady at the office was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice campground, friendly people, not too far from the world but nice and tucked away. My family stayed there quite a bit 2007, we were always pleased with the service, and the campground as a whole. Clean bathrooms, clean laundry room (very spacious too). The pool is very nice, hot tub also. one can go swimming or fishing in the river. The campground is nestled in the middle of the foothills of the smokey mountains, gorgeous area. RV spaces are large, which is a plus. We never stayed in the cabins, but from the outside they’re quite nice looking. In all the RV traveling my family has done though out the US, this is hands down our favorite.
