Fancy Nails

Waited over an hour as other people were put in chairs before me. No one bothered to ask me is I had been waiting after I checked in. Disrespectful place. Don’t recommend it

I will never go back to Fancy Nails. I had an appointment and an hour and and half later he was just finished with the pedicure– I didn’t have time for a manicure. Too bad I have a date tonight and wanted the manicure more! I have since developed a nail fungus! I will be telling everyone not to go to Fancy Nails! Clean up your act! Train your people in the correct way to do nails. It should not be the customer that needs to!

Fantastic customer service and great work!!! I am very picky about my nails and I am beyond pleased. I’ve tried many others salons and get turned off by the lack of customer service. The owners knew almost every one by name and greeted everyone that walked in and made you feel welcomed. Not like you are a bother and they don’t have time for you. Trust me give them a try.

I have been coming to this place for several years. They are very friendly, and Mimi (the owner) knows the majority of her customers by name.
Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere. They are pretty disorganized with appointments– I get that it can be tricky with walk-​ins, but I have waited over an hour past my appointment time before.
Also, if you get Mimi as your nail tech, she is the only one who does some of the services, such as waxing. Therefore, she will leave the chair several times during your service (sometimes for more than 5 minutes) to attend to other customers. While I understand that she is the only one who does certain things, it simply isn’t acceptable.
Fancy Nails would benefit from hiring two more nail techs to soften the blow during busy times. I absolutely LOVE this place, but the logistics of it are making it difficult for me to come back.
If you have a lot of time to spare when getting your nails done, come here. I will say again that all employees are very friendly. The main problem is that they are understaffed.

I have been going here since high school (my 10 yr reunion is this year btw) homecoming, spring break, my showers, even my wedding. My whole family comes here and the staff knows us. It’s reasonably priced, and clean. You may wait a while depending on when you come in, even if you have an appointment. Over all it’s a staple in the area. Ask for Tom, he gives a great massage.
