Papa’s Pizza & BBQ

My boyfriend and I are regulars here! Everything on the menu is fabulous and prices are very reasonable!

Pizza is good, typical for this area. Love that they use fresh mushrooms instead of slimy canned ones. Clear communication over the phone, my orders are ready on time & checkout is a breeze. What bumps it up to 5 stars for me is the staff; they’re fun, efficient and treat you like favorite family members coming to visit

I just called at 10:30 and they supposedly close at 11 or midnight… Atleast be honest about your store hours

We stopped in to check out the place since the pizza place that was there before them had closed but we had liked their pizza. It was stifling hot that day (This place did not have air).
We noticed the menu was almost identical to Happy’s Pizza and he said it was a franchise that allowed you to choose your own name but it was the same food.
We ordered a pizza and 2 liter and asked how long it would be. We were told 20 minutes so we drove over to Kroger where it was air conditioned to wait.
We came back about 25 minutes later. My friend waited in the car and I sat to wait for an employee to come to the front and give me our food. It took so long that my friend ended up coming in to see what was going on.
The employee who had taken our order came up and tells us that it’s going to be another 20+ minutes because he didn’t put our order in yet because he got a bunch of orders after we placed ours.
WHAT? We asked «Why would you do their orders after ours??» His only explanation was that they were phoned in orders so they started those. That makes no sense.
When we explained that while those people were most likely able to sit at home and comfortably watch TV in their air conditioning, we have now waited over a half hour and in their stuffy hot store.
His reply was that we should be grateful he didn’t charge us for the crushed red pepper we requested and the flavored crust.
We will NEVER go back.

I really don’t eat to much pizza because, well… it’s bad for you. but I was craving it and thought i give this brand new place a try.
The Pizza was done in a flash 10 minutes (which isn’t a good thing in my book). It was also affordable a large was $ 7 (again, not always a good thing). I like they used fresh mushrooms, the sauce was pretty good too. What stopped me from loving it was there was to much cheese, and the the crust had little flavor.
This place is just OK, with so many other choices in the area I’m not sure I’d come back.
