Specialties

Kehillah Early Learning Center is a nationally (NAEYC) accredited, state licensed program providing early childhood education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners (before and after public school kindergarten). Kehillah participates in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Keystone Stars Quality Initiative Program which upholds the highest standards in the state. Special activities (e.g. Israeli dance, gymnastics, etc.) and specialists (e.g. sign lanuage, music & movement, etc.) enrich the program. A summer camp program with many specialists is open to the community. Scholarships and state subsidy are available for families that meet the eligibility requirements.

Both of my children have attended Kehillah since they were babies (almost 4 years). The teachers and staff are very attentive and caring. My children are excited to go to «school» and we feel good leaving them there. The curriculum for each age is consistent and thorough, while still leaving lots of time for play. A couple of years ago they went through several directors, which was frustrating. Fortunately, the new director is great and has brought added stability to the school. They are also coordinated with the Wallingford-​Swarthmore school district for half day kindergarten.

My daughter has attended Kehillah for over a year and we could not be happier with the care she has received there. Everyone from the teachers to the director and other administrator exhibit consistent care for our daughter and passion for encouraging learning from a very young age. Our daughter has exceeded most milestones (walked early, incredible language development, love of books and reading, etc.).
