Nardelli’s Grinder Shoppe

Good quality subs packed with ingredients. Fair price. Really good service. Place seemed clean.

I have to say walked in and almost walked right back out of the place. Upon entering this place there was 12 ppl in front of me. But I said screw it why bother by the time I walk back to my car drive some where else I’ll be in the same Time boat. The guy at the register immediately said hello to me. Young lady with blue hair and a nice smile said «we’ll be right with you „she was cute but I laughed to myself and said yeah right. But to my surprise within 5 minutes I was paying for my food. I ordered half Italian Combo per recommendation by the same cute girl when asked her what’s good. Sandwich was great bread was the best bread I had in a long time. I will be back again. Plenty of parking here. Don’t be discouraged by long lines they are really efficient with getting the flow down.

after town over location had no bread. Upon waking in the door we immediately ask
“ Do you have bread ?» The young lady (GM I believe) said absolutely we have bread what can we get for you? My gut told me to come here first but since I was over in Meriden with out of town family I went against my Gut. Once again this store is amazing. I usually hit it for lunch and I’m happy to see that their night crew is just as good as there Lunch Crew.

I periodically visit Wallingford for business, had seen signs and driven by other Nardelli locations on the drive from the airport, but never been in one. A couple of colleagues suggested we go and now it’s a regular stop… service is fast, always friendly, wide variety of food, and it’s always delicious… wish we had Nardelli’s in Buffalo!

This place was GREATTTTTT!!! The atmosphere and the employees were very respectful and did everything correctly. I definitely will come back food was delicious. What I love the most about it was the place was very very clean not like other delis I’ve been to everything was on point great job guys keep up the good work and good luck. Ill DEFFFFFFINATELY will be back.

Yeah… sorry not impressed. eggplant sandwich was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Was mainly a breadcrumb with sauce sandwich. I’m sure their deli meat sandwiches are fine but anything out of their front prepared food case is dicey.
Stick with freshly sliced meats I would say.

What can I say about Nardelli’s that hasn’t been said already? They’re family owned and operated, have a great atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff, deliver great food at a great value, and have locations across Connecticut.
Soups are usually my go to. Pasta fagioli is always on point, broccoli cheddar is absurdly flavorful.
Grinders are the best in the state. Hot, cold, a little of both — try them all.
Haven’t tried the desserts yet, but I’ve been eyeing the cheesecake burritos for a while now.
Highly recommended for value and quality.

I was excited to see a Nardelli’s in Wallingford– never went before so figured I would scope it out. Since it is brand new the place is very clean, and well organized. They have large selection of grinders, wraps, salads, prepared foods, pastries and desserts. (See photos) I ordered the Soppressata sandwich with my usual toppings and it was delish– and VERY big. This was not a skimpy sandwich for the $ 5.95 I spent on it. I went back and tried a sub, and ordered the prosciutto, but was a little diaaspoiinted in the quality as the meat was very dry, and excessively salty. Next time I will pass on that one. Overall great experiences each time besides the dry prosciutto, but I would recommend this place. They also have a «sub card» that you can get stamped for future visits, buy 10 get 1 free– so make sure to ask for it when you go. Prices are very moderate and large portions.

I love Nardelli’s and was excited they they are expanding into new areas. The shop was beautiful, location convenient and ample parking. The staff was friendly. I ordered my favorite half italian combo. Comparing to other locations, this sandwich was only a third. It was made perfectly and I look forward to my next visit.
