New (er) bar in Wallingford that has been many different names before, but The Tavern has a great feel about it! Pool table, trivia nights, bands! Cheap drinks too! Glass of wine was only $ 5! Patio has been updated and looks really nice — definitely try it out before the colder weather moves in! Ordered quesadillas for an app, really cheesy and perfect for sharing! Located right off Rt. 5, I can see this place really doing well this fall!

We went to this restaurant when it was Bobby Spur’s, and went back again now that they have changed their name/​menu. They have good, reasonably priced food and drinks. It’s a dark, pub-​like atmosphere with a nice bar and a separate section with a pool table. Perfect if you’re looking for a low-​key place to go with friends.
