Andrew D Marshall, DDS

Like most people I generally absolutely dread going to see the dentist. It is a necessary evil, so to speak, but back in the day, in the beginning even, when I saw Dr. drew Marshall for my dentistry I even requested nitrous oxide for my cleanings to even occur. I have seen Dr. Marshall off and on actually for the last eighteen years, and I can very honestly say he is the best dentist in the area. His wife Lynne also helps run the practice and even helps his patients like me fight with dental insurance which i know is also very rare in this world. No one likes to fight with insurance companies, most of all the doctors and dentists I know, but Dr. Marshall’s office does.
I tried to go to other less expensive dentists a few times over the years and «cheap out» or go in my dental insurance’s Hmo, but have always come back here. I know what’s out there dentist-​wise, and Dr. Drew Marshall is the very best. He is extremely detail oriented and a perfectionist which is what you want in a dentist, Drew does meticulously attentive work, whether it’s a cleaning evaluation, a small filling, veneers, or even a full mouth restoration. He also has the most current technological Equipment and makes most porcelain crowns in the office, as another reviewer mentioned. He is very chill, laid back, and service oriented, in fact his whole office is. The level of service I have experienced at Dr. marshall’s dental office is off the charts unparalleled and superior to any other dental practice in the entire Bay Area, in my mind. In the end of the day that’s really what makes the difference more than anything. I know that this office, conveniently located in the doctors park area on Ygnacio Valley Rd in walnut creek, wants to do the best thing for me and their other patients more than any other objective in their practice, financial or otherwise, and I can feel it all the time.
The real evidence of this service would be Dr Marshall’s refusal to do cosmetic dentistry and veneers, which I believe are his speciality above all else, until my dental hygiene improved. I really want veneers, I hate my teeth and I have a genetic propensity towards decay I guess, but Drew has waited until I flossed my teeth regularly, brushed with an electric toothbrush for the required time until it turns off (which is a long time, it seems!) and wore a night guard regularly before ever agreeing to do these veneers and cosmetic dentistry for me. He isn’t out to «make a buck» again, he is in this to take the best possible care of his patients! Just today he took pictures and prepped me to finally after several years do my veneers for me. :).
In a world where integrity is so rare, as well as patient centered customer service as well, Drew has it in spades. I cannot recommend him or his Walnut Creek office any higher, he is absolutely the best and I will never ever go to anyone else!

The entire staff at Dr. Marshall’s office is wonderful. Dental work is never fun, but Dr. Marshall makes it as easy and painless as possible.

This is the BEST dentist office I have ever been to in my life! This office is so clean and features state of the art facility with the latest-​greatest equipment. Dr. Marshall is a perfectionist and well experienced. Recently I broke my tooth and Dr. Marshall got me in quickly and also helped me with the pain. They make the crowns on site which means no temporary crown to mess with and it eliminates a follow up visit. You can even watch a movie with a headset while they do their work and they have a vast library of movies if you are going to be in the chair for a long procedure.
I also might add that their dental hygienist, Michelle, is the best ever too. She is experienced, gentle and informative.
I highly recommend becoming a patient at this office!
