Apex Limousine Service

I placed a reservation for transportation from Levi’s stadium to Mountain View. The driver was to arrive early to ensure a smooth pickup and avoid stadium traffic. The cost for this short ride was $ 200, well more than Über or other car services. This premium was paid to compensate the driver for arriving early and parking at the stadium.
The driver did not arrive on time and did not call me to inform me that he was 2 miles away from the stadium (understandably due to traffic/​police). After a 2 mile walk and 2 hours later, I arrived home and received my bill for the full $ 200. The original agreement was not fulfilled and the driver never called to warn me he was parked 2 miles away. I asked for 50% to be refunded, which was refused. Would not use this service again.

Unfortunately for me I needed surgery at UCSF and I wanted dependable no hassle transportation to and from. APEX provided this for me without a hitch. I was impressed with the service and the cars for both trips. I would call them again and recommend them to anyone.

I had another car service drop the ball on me last minute. The other company they recommended didn’t come across professional. I had one day to find car service for an event in Napa. Apex came through, and as an added bonus, we had the pleasure of driving with Alex. Alex is AWESOME! As a person and so incredibly professional. He has deep knowledge about the wineries in Napa. I will definitely book with Apex again and request Alex!

From the initial reservation to the reminder call to our amazing driver, Erik, Apex was phenomenal. My friends and I enjoyed a full day of wine tasting. Er I k was an excellent driver and incredibly knowledgeable about wine and wineries. We will definitely use Apex again and insist on Erik.

Probably a good service for a ride to the airport but wasn’t great for a day in wine country. When greeted by the driver, his first comment was that any food had to go in the trunk. Ok, I’m an adult; if you don’t want me to eat in the limo, can’t you just say that? Plus, who wants to spend a day of wine tasting and not enjoy some cheese and bread between stops? I guess the several hundred dollars for a limo does not cover the cost to vacuum it afterwards.
You should also expect to be video taped while riding in the limo (per the notice on the window). Even getting to first base with your significant other isn’t that much fun knowing the driver or someone else in the back office might be getting their jollies watching what you’re are doing.
The driver was nice, friendly and helpful. He gave us a recommendation for a winery that was good. We had a couple of scheduled stops and he did a great job of keeping us on track.

I’ve been using Apex for a little over a year now and I’m very happy with the service from start to finish. I always get Nelli on the phone who is lovely and very helpful … always. This service is primarily for my Boss who is a Tech Entrepreneur and very particular about certain things, transportation of the family he really cares about being one of his highest priorities. We’ve gone through about 4 different services until I found Apex and have had no issues since. I was lucky enough to be in one of their cars recently myself and our driver Ivo was wonderful. I would highly recommend them to those care about safety, comfort and professionalism.

Have used them twice for airport transportation now. Friendly and very punctual. Cost is about average compared to all other companies. Very clean town cars and the drivers aren’t overly chatty, which I like.

Apex was first class from start to finish. Getting a quote and booking the trip was friendly and easy. Pricing was competitive and I also received a follow up email the day before my trip to confirm all the details. The day of our trip our driver (Alex M) arrived a few minutes early in an upgraded SUV and we were only charged the standard rate for a sedan. He completed all of the paperwork efficiently and we were on our way. Alex M was very knowledgeable about the Napa Valley and we learned some things that we didn’t know even after having toured several times. He made some great winery recommendations and we ended up changing our plans to see some of the smaller boutique wineries that he knew about. The six hours flew by in the blink of an eye because we were having so much fun. Water was always on hand ready for us and he was on top of our itinerary the entire day. Alex M really made the trip so much fun and stress free for us. If you can request a driver, ask for Alex M, he is top notch.

Apex has the best service in the Bay Area!
It is always a chore to hire the car to get my group to the airport for our annual vacation. I seem to never keep driver’s information so every year I begin searching for a car service from scratch…
This vacation I began my search for a car service. The first service couldn’t help me with an SFO drop off (what??). The next service called me after I submitted an online request. The guy who called had to conference in another guy to make the reservation. He couldn’t get the other guy on the line right away… after a few expletives the other guy came on the line. I thanked them both and continued my search…
The next car service (this is #3!). The gentleman was helpful and nice, but not real knowlegable. Most of his answers ended with «and stuff» or «yeah, I think…» I couldn’t do it. I thanked him and started over.
Then I call Apex. Mary came on the line and was so professional, helpful and knowledgeable. She sold me on the company. What a great experience to have after so much lackluster!

I used Apex for transportation from Santa Clara to Napa and back. They did a great job and charged a reasonable amount.

I had a great time in Napa on our wine tour. Our driver Luke was a lot of fun and dealt with our loud group. Luke was very knowledgeable of the area and was very informative.

These guys were great. I booked the car the day before and the driver was at the house 5 minutes early with coffee for my wife and I. The return trip was just as organized. When we arrived and I turned the phone on. The driver had already sent me a text with instructions. He was curbside as we walked out of the terminal with our bags. Both cars were newer, well maintained and the drivers were courtious with good road manners. I will use them for my airport runs form now on.

I’m on the border of giving this company a 3.5 to 4 stars. The customer service over the phone was A+ (very helpful, great recommendations, clear about the details, etc).
Here’s where they lost points. The driver showed up to our place on time, BUT, when we all came outside, he wanted to handle the money/​payment right then and there, which is fine but instead of not welcoming our guests to hop in the car already, we all got the vibe that we couldn’t touch the limo until he had our credit card on file. so we just stood there. What he should’ve done was knock on our door, work out the payment details right then and there, and walk us to his car while opening the doors and welcoming us. I then had to introduce myself to get his name, BUT, he had a heavy accent and I couldn’t understand him. Lets just say, he wasn’t very personable… he was basically there to do his job and not make any conversation I guess. This is the first limo driver I had encountered like this.
Limo was clean, but not the cleanest. There were white marks/​stains on the ceiling randomly… not a lot but enough to make our guests make jokes about it (don’t want to know what it is or how it got there!). There was a bottle of champagne on ice, some sprite, and a couple bottles of water. There was also to bottles with no labels on it. One smelled and tasted like cheap vodka, and the other smelled and tasted like jack daniels. BLAH!
We got to our destinations, didn’t feel rushed, and our driver was always there ready to go when we were walking towards the parking lot. No complaints about that. He did open our doors everytime we arrived at a winery and upon entering the car again which was nice.
I think we just got stuck with a driver that we didn’t get a great friendly vibe from (which we’re not used to). I’d recommend this company, in hopes that whoever uses them will get a friendlier driver than us.
