Completely blown away with their service. My car looks amazing.

I brought Sean my 10 year old BMW, which had been nearly-​completely neglected, paint-​wise. The clear coat was completely foggy on the hood and top, and I was expecting to be told that I needed a re-​paint. However, Sean took a few days with it, gave it some serious elbow grease, and when I got it back it looked like the day I bought it! Awesome job, professional team, 5 stars for sure.

I can’t express how blown away I am with the incredible work that Sean has completed with my Panamera. I bought this car in Nevada and it was victim of desert heat and sand. Black paint and swirls everywhere also some stains on the interior. I was hesitant to spend money on a detail because I didn’t understand the difference between a good wax job and a detailer. Sean is master detailer. He sat with me for over an hour talking about his passion for detailing and also what he could do to rejuvenate my car. I left it with him and knew that it was in good hands. When I returned to pick up my car I was in shock as it tuned out better than new! He also asked if he could at no charge keep the car one more day to add another coat of Americoat. True perfectionist and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car!

Almost 4 months ago, In early Apr 2015 Sean applied Opti-​Coat to my 1-​day-​old bright red Tesla 85D Model S. Over the course of 2 days he devoted painstaking care with the dedication and careful eye of a skilled craftsman to every inch of the surface of my car. He removed small scratches and blemishes from the paint that had been left by the factory, achieving a virtually perfect paint job. His attention to detail was extraordinary, and the result impeccable. The car is beautiful and I remain extremely impressed with Sean’s work. I recommend him highly.

Asked Sean to add opticoat to three cars — 2014 Maserati GT, 2014 Porsche Carrera 4 and a Honda S2000. Sean spent over five days across all three cars and each came out beautiful. While the service wasn’t inexpensive it was completely worth it as Sean was a true professional, pointing out flaws, swirls and chips which he fixed perfectly.
Sean was also great providing referrals for adding clear bras to he maserati and Porsche. I couldn’t refer a better auto detailer with tremendous knowledge of the cars he works on or someone more flexible in providing service on weekends.

I couldn’t ask Sean to complete OptiCoat for my car due to distance, timing (with the holidays), and my lack of a garage space (considering the recent rain), but we had a long conversation about his practice and his philosophy. Great guy. He travels to your home and garage to complete the OptiCoat for you, and prices very reasonably. He gave me a recommendation for another detailer in the area who is closer and may just work out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others, and also will seek him out when I get a garage! Extremely rude individual this guy charges 700 for detailing I called and he had a very bad attitude do not recommend.

I recently purchased a 2015 Acura TLX and wanted to ensure that a good foundation for excellent automobile care was laid down. Based on the glowing reviews here on Unilocal,I reached out to Sean, owner of Apollo Auto Detailing, about what my options were for protecting my TLX.
I think referring to Sean as a «detailer» almost seems unbefitting his skill level. More so an artisan, an auto enthusiast and auto-​care craftsman. From the moment I reached out to him, he was engaging and was able to give me a clear understanding of what protectants are being used today. I elected to go with Opti Coat Pro ceramic clear coat as I felt this was the best option for protecting my vehicle long term.
Sean was able to correct a few problems (yes, new cars have paint problems like minor scuffs) with the TLX. When it comes to cars, he’s got the eyes of a hawk for evaluating paint. It was kind of funny as he showed me these minor defects and I strained to see them through my bifocals! Hehe. He doesn’t miss a thing.
He’s also very willing to go over how to care for your car. His website has a wealth of information and links to products. His professionalism and extreme attention to detail are simply superb. If you want someone who genuinely wants your vehicle to look the best that it possibly can, whether it’s a Lamborghini, an Acura or Chevy, a daily driver or a car you roll out a few times a year, look no further; this is the man you need to hire.

2007 Mercedes-​Benz CL600 with 100k miles: 11 hours later and my car is beautiful and protected. Better than the day I bought it! I like to detail and keep my car nice but perfection is a difficult target especially on very hard Mercedes-​Benz nano clear coat. I knew that. Sean achieved near perfection that exceeded my expectation in every way. He is an artisan that loves cars as much as he loves his craft.
No need to keep an eye on his work or watch the clock. Sean works like a beaver! He arrives on time too so be ready.

Wow! I am a very particular person and Sean exceeded all of my expectations. He just finished detailing my brand new 2014 BMW 650 Carbon Black Convertible and I am speechless. His attention to detail, vast knowledge, patience in explaining what needs to be done and then outlining how I should take care of my car afterwards is truly astonishing.
I am in the services business myself and set a high bar when it comes to customer satisfaction. Sean blew right through all of my gates and I am now a customer for life. My car never looked so good, Carbon Black is a difficult color to work with and Sean did an outstanding job in bring out the depth, color, and shine!
He worked for 8 hours on my car, was very meticulous and saw things that needed to be fixed and took care of it. You can tell he loves what he is doing, his passion and excitement comes through loud and clear when he speaks with you.

Three years; 86K miles; two years driving 4 – 5 kids in carpool; three years hauling dogs; multiple road trips to beaches, mountains, hiking trails, vineyards, dog shows and stables. My weekly hose-​offs and vaccuums were not cutting it anymore. My car also had a dozen or so chips and scuffs from other cars, shopping carts, doors, etc. Sean spent nine hours working on it yesterday, which gives you an idea of the grime, as well as his level of detail. He retouched out the chips so well that I couldn’t find them later. My car looks phenomenal.
When he finished, Sean talked me through how to clean my car, which was simpler than I had assumed, and easier than what I had been doing. He also told me I could email or call him with questions about which products to use, or how to use them. Very professional and highly recommended.

Sean did an AMAZING detail job on my 3 year old MINI and my 22 year old Honda Civic. I’ve been looking for a car detail shop for quite awhile and just didn’t like what I saw and read. Finally, at the end of May 2013, I found Sean on Unilocal and based on the reviews and his website, I contacted him first to inquire only about detailing my MINI. We exchanged a couple of e-​mails regarding my MINI. I could not believe how quickly he responded and how complete his responses were to my questions and concerns. My issues for my MINI were bird droppings, paint chips, and a scratched area. I was so impressed by the thoroughness of his responses and his enthusiasm about car detailing (his enthusiasm came through in the e-​mails!) that I also asked about detailing my 22 year old Honda Civic, which was severely oxidized and never had a detail job. Again he addressed my questions and concerns with great detail. We scheduled an appointment. He came out today and did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and FANTASTIC job on both of my cars! I could not recognize my Honda — so smooth and shiny! I can see my reflection — WOW! My MINI looks awesome, too (like it rolled off a car showroom)!

Wow! Sean is everything positive already said. He detailed my 2008 Paprika Red VW EOS yesterday and it looks better than brand new! He really should have taken pictures because it’s a beauty. I highly recommend him and will use him again.

You won’t get better — period.
Sean is a fastidious, conscientious worker with a real eye for detail. Knows all the little tricks to get your car looking absolutely spot on. He worked a full day on my car and came back next day to finish off, and didn’t hit me on the extra hour or so he needed. NICE attitude… as far as I am concerned I’ll be calling him up to do the Porsche and the boat before the summer starts…

WITHOUT A DOUBT the most thorough, impeccable attention to detail, best car detailing I have ever encountered. I’ve had Sean detail our black Tahoe from when it was a baby. Just when I thought I’d had the best you can get… he has even improved his technique and performance. All I can say is you ABSOLUTELY will not be displeased with his service. My three year old Tahoe looks better then the day we bought it — and I’m not exaggerating!!!

i contacted Sean regarding detailing my 2007 black Tahoe and removing some quite noticeable scratches i had after living in SF for 5 years. I dropped my Tahoe off on a Sunday and left it with Sean over night. he mentioned having the extra time would be better for the waxes he uses as he can then let each wax cure for an hour. i also emailed him pictures of all the «problem» areas i had to better give him an idea of what i was looking for. after reviewing the photos i sent… he emailed back a very detailed message regarding each area and what he would be able to do… which helped set expectations on both ends right from the start.
upon picking the Tahoe up… the huge key mark i had down my front quarter panel and down the driver door was gone… which was my main concern. Sean was upfront with how long it was going to take by doing a walkthrough of my car with me when i dropped it off. he also spent over two hours on clay barring my Tahoe.
the day after it was done… there was a light rain which was not in the forecast. Sean emailed me addressing the rain and when it would be a good time to meet up so he could re-​treat the exterior plastic again after it rained… saying the exterior protectants need at least 36 hours without rain to fully set in… this extra treatment would be free of charge. him offering to do this blew my mind… he could have very easily moved on to something else but instead he went out of his way to contact me to further treat my car. Sean also gave me tips on what to do down the road on keeping my Tahoe clean (i.e. which counties have the best water and which have the harshest).
I would recommend his detailing to anyone and plan to use his services for two more cars before the summer is over.
Tip: during the summer he is slammed with work so he barely answers his phone… its best to get ahold of him through email as he handles all logistics as well as is the only one doing the detailing work on his clients vehicles.

I contacted Sean on the recommendations of a custom body shop in the area. Sean came out to look at my 2002 C5 Corvette which is black on black. It has only 26 000 miles for a 2002 and was in very good shape — I thought. Sean proceed to carefully and with much care to work on my Corvette. It took 12 hours of polishing and sanding using very fine grit paper to remove all the scratches and swirls in the black finish.
As he works it reminds me of an artist lovely applying their talent to a canvas but his canvas is your car.
I highly recommend his work and if your are a Corvette owner, you will be very impressed with the care he takes when working on your Corvette.

Sean detailed a ‘new to me’ 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan and a ‘lets sell this thing’ 2000 VW Passat. The minivan very, very dirty from the previous owner and he got the paint and interior (the worst off) in great shape. Melted crayons, coffee stains, all kinds of nasty stuff was ground in the carpeting.
He got 10 years of oxidation almost completely removed from my Passat, though he warned me up front that he wouldn’t be able to get it all. The first person who saw the car bought it. I’m sure this was due to it looking beautiful. I was very pleased with his work. He worked more hours than he’d quoted, but didn’t raise his price. Honest, diligent, great guy.
I will use him again.

I’ve been detailing as a hobby for 20 years. Sean has a great ability to get the work done right the first time.
