I was born and raised in the bay area. I began my work with children and families as a preschool teacher over 15 years ago. I earned my B.A. from the University of Santa Cruz California in psychology and child development in 1996. My continued work in the mental health field inspired me to expand my clinical knowledge of psychology. I graduated with my Doctorate in Psychology, (Psy, D) in 2003
