Blinks + Brows

I’ve seen Michelle a few times for makeup tattooing 1^st on my upper eyelids and then on my lower eyelids. She does a fantastic job and it may seem scary to put permanent makeup on your face but it’s actually a time saver. Plus your eyeliner will never smudge, smear or wash off. If you think it will be painful it isn’t really, she numbs the area so application isn’t terribly uncomfortable. If you’ve been thinking of doing something like this, I’d say go ahead and let Michelle do it for you.

Michelle is amazing. I have been going to her for over 5 years now and she does not disapoint. She works magic with her permanent makeup. I love getting up in the morning and not having to fill in my eyebrows. Saves me so much time and as a new mom, time is so important.
I also had my first ever facial with her today and I love the way my skin looks and feels. I almost hate to write this because I know it’s going to be harder and harder to get an appointment the more her reputation grows.
If you don’t go to Blinks and Brows you are missing out!

I met Michelle about 7 years ago. I heard her name mentioned by someone and immediately tracked her down. I scheduled to see her for my upper and lower lids and brows. I had been modeling for soft tap so she had to deal with covering the Orange like color that was showing and obvious.
I have since been seeing her regularly for touch ups over the years. She is a perfectionist and won’t quit until her work is nothing but the best and IT IS.
I was at her new store in Walnut Creek recently which is great. She is always so concerned about any discomfort, constantly asking how one is doing.
She is extremely professional, kind, caring and does an amazing job. She truly takes pride in her job very seriously.
My make up looks so natural that only once was I asked by an Ophthalmologist who obviously was getting a very close view if it was permanent make up.
For several reasons putting on make up has been very difficult for me. The concept of not having to do this and waking each morning looking like I have make up on is awesome.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to look natural, but without any effort.

Super awesome place. I got 3D brows and Michele did a great job. She is very knowledgeable and patient. I went back today to get permanent eyeliner on upper eyelid. She again did not disappoint. Now I can say… «I woke up this this». LoL Love this place. DIONNE

I previously had my brows tattooed a while ago. So I went into Michelle as a recommendation and I can’t believe all the compliments I have received on her work! They look natural and the best statement I can say is «priceless» Thank you Michele for your awesome work! I am recommending all my friends to you for tattooing. FYI — her salon does it all, lash extensions, facials, microdermabrasion, threading!

I was a bit worried about coming here to try threading for the first time since most of the reviews on this place are on on permanent makeup or eyelash extensions.
Threading here cost $ 15.
The process was quick, a little painful, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Nikki threaded my eyebrows and I’m happy with her work! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a before picture.
Nikki is professional, friendly, and does an amazing job at threading. I knew that it would be a good experience after I saw she had nice brows. People with crappy brows can’t be trusted!
There are a lot of threading places in Walnut Creek that received great reviews on Unilocal,but what sold me on this place is the location. Downtown Walnut Creek can be so hectic and if you don’t get lucky with a free spot in a garage, paying for parking sucks, especially with the meter extension. Blinks + Brows is located in the Palos Verdes Shopping Center and you won’t have trouble finding parking. Plus if you need to run other errands, it’s next Lunardis for groceries, a Rite Aid, dry cleaners, Starbucks, even a gym.
I usually get my eyebrows waxed, but I think think my brow waxing days are over and will continue to come to Blinks + Brow to see Nikki.

First time coming here and I was amazed on how warm welcoming she was, she gave me the best hair stroke eyebrows ever! Can’t wait for them to heal and see her again! She was very gentle and had an amazing personality! This location is very clean and comfortable! Staff was very nice here as well! Looking forward to my next visit with her which will be at her new location (Brentwood) which is perfect since I live a few minutes away from it. I HIGHLY recommend for ALL cosmetic inquiries and procedures to be done her. Was NOT rushed at all and enjoyed Michelle’s conversations. I will recommend all my coworkers at Kaiser to go to her for whatever they need! Love, Love, Love it!!!

This review is for Janelle! She is the BEST eyelash technician!!! There was some miscommunication with booking as I spoke to the owner, Michelle, and I was actually not even booked into the schedule however, I know I confirmed my appt with Michelle. Nonetheless, Janelle managed to squeeze me in and do a full set on me in a short amount of time. (Before her next client.) I thought this was very nice of her because I knew she had a full schedule! She was very accommodating, fun, and professional. She is very sweet and funny. I love my lashes. Their location is quite a drive from me but she’s worth it!

I was seeing Lynette every 2 weeks since I started getting extensions and she has always done a wonderful job. I was nervous about having to switch to a different girl when she left, but Alyssa is my lash artist now and she is fantastic, I’m surprised I don’t see more reviews about her amazing work here!
My touch up is a 45min appointment and she takes her time filling in as many lashes as possible, she really listens to what you want style-​wise while kindly inputting her professional opinion of what would look best with your eye shape which I found helpful since she has the vision for it more so than I do. I always leave feeling satisfied with her service and my lashes are exactly how I like them to be every time; long and full.
I go in every two weeks for a refill, which costs $ 50. If you go in every week a touch up is $ 30, and anything 3 weeks and after is $ 70+. Not bad considering other salons offering lash extensions charge upwards $ 100 for touch ups.
You definitely get your money’s worth here not only in seeing ALYSSA but with each lash artist. I really appreciate how if for some reason you cant get in with your regular artist, they each honor whatever price your artist charges you. So if I go in every two weeks with Alyssa, I can expect to pay the same amount with another artist if I have to schedule it that way. LOVE her work, see Alyssa if you want to leave happy and satisfied :)

Michelle was great. I love my permanent makeup on my eye brows and the light liner. She did a great job and really helped me with the right amount in both areas. She is a real pro and very talented. Thanks so much!

I am SO SO happy with all the work Michelle did for me. She did my eyeliner, eyebrows and lips… they look GREAT. I hardly wear any make up at all now and love waking up cute in the morning. My husband LOVES it, too. I also agree with Linda V,. in that you MUST communicate your needs and wants to her. Michelle is an artist, not a mind reader. I believe Michelle has a gift and real talent for helping someone look their absolute best and most attractive. Yes, she does have her opinions, but she WILL listen to you, but you must speak up. Make sure you are clear on exactly what color and where the tattoo is going; if you’re not sure, ASK. I’m a good communicator and I got exactly what I wanted. And I’m in my late sixties, so Michelle did not have the easiest job on my blond eyebrows! We settled on a light grayish color and it looks just beautiful. She also did a repair on a lip tattoo done poorly twenty years ago and it looks perfect.
Michelle, thank you again. You actually exceeded my expectations.

The only thing that’s good about this place is it has open availability. I am so sad that I wasted my money here. I got my eyebrows tattooed with what was supposed to be the 3d Hair stroke look, well they are solid color & I had to go in 3 different times. Yes the first 2 times were the initial & touch up but after the initial apt the color faded within 5 days. It has now been about 4 weeks after my 3^rd appointment & the color is barely there but def not hair stoke & I still have to shade in my eyebrows because some spots are missing the pigment. Do not come to this place for tattooed eyebrows, You’ll be wasting your money. You may think that its because the ink/​pigment doesn’t stay in my skin, not the case, I have several tattoos all over my body. Also I was never asked for an ID to show my age, or asked to sign anything regarding the fact that this is essentially a tattoo.

I can’t say enough fabulous things about Aesha! I was über nervous to get my first set of eyelash extensions. She made me feel comfortable right off the bat –from our consultation over the phone to the day of. I asked her a million questions and she answered everyone — she knows her stuff! Back story — I’m getting these for my wedding and she recommended I come in before to try them out and see what style I like. Best advise ever! I tested them out for my bachelorette party and got so many compliments! So many people thought they were NATURAL! :) Just what I wanted! GO SEE AESHA — She’ll make your eyes look Absolutely Gorgeous!!! Disclaimer — you may become addicted to these! I already am!

I have not only gone to Michelle for my own eyebrows but I took my mother, who is by far the most nitpicky person and a total perfectionist from Europe and we both loved our eyebrows tattoos.
I had to read the negative reviews left by a couple of women a few times and realized that these people seem to be mentally and emotionally unstable. I mean there is a way to communicate like an adult to get what you want from a service provider. I have been to several different people, mostly in SF and Michelle actually does know what she is doing. It is not her fault nor is it her responsibility if a client is incabable of communicating their needs to her. It is clear from the name calling and and harsh reviews that these women cannot communicate. Also, as a professional myself when manipulating body parts via botox, tattoos or laser one needs to know that you are taking a gamble. The face is not totally even and makeup tattoo artists follow the natural lines otherwise you end up looking like a toddler drew outline the lines on your face.
I have met with Michelle three times. We are not «close» and I am not a friend writing a review. I cannot stand it when people try to destroy a person’s credibility in this manner. I can always tell when a Unilocal review is done with integrity or its some crazy person who can’t afford a therapist and uses Unilocal to relive their anxiety.
Michelle is professional, experienced kind and very reasonable. She will exert her professional knowledge and will let you know when she is unwilling to perform exactly what you want ONLY WHEN she knows that it won’t work or won’t look good.
I admire that kind of integrity!

Scam artist. Beware
Was not prepared at visit, seemed in a hurry and did a terrible job on eyebrows and lips. They are not even and when I went back she was rude, not compassionate at all. It costs $ 700. For a bad job. Beware you are stuck with ink tattoo on your face and can’t correct it. Now I have uneven lips and brows Michelle is a farce.
It was a few years ago, in pleasant hill. That’s part of the problem you could not find my card with the colors we discussed at the first consult. I paid you and you did the first attempt and afterwards my lips and brows were uneven, I came back to discuss and you said you could fix it at the second session. But after the first session results I could not trust you.

Well I cannot judge Lynette’s skills or services because she never showed up. After I showed the manager the email confirmation, she took my name and phone number ‘to figure it out’
It’s a small salon. And one of the clients was pretty opinioned and judgemental making me feel uncomfortable. Plus, there was a. Little kid running around.
I felt I wasted my time with this.

Callie is the best at eyelashes. Not only do they look flawless every time but she uses a precise technique that does not damage the natural lashes at all. I have heard people say so many times that the extensions just fall out with the same cycle as your natural lashes but that has only been true for me when Callie does them.
She also makes great recommendations on which length and curl will be best for your eye shape. Not just for what looks best but what lasts longest as well.
The first time I went to Callie I was told I looked like a Disney Princess the next day. It doesn’t get better than that.

Blinks + Brows is a salon that does many services such as lash extensions, permanent makeup, threading etc. Pretty much anything dealing with your face & beautifying it. I went in to get my lash extensions done for the very first time & Lynnette is responsible for my lovely lashes!
I really love them & to be honest I was terrified to get them done. I’m sure a lot of us heard of the scary myths dealing with lash extensions. But I’m so happy I tried it out. My lashes came out beautiful and incredibly natural which is exactly what I wanted. Lynnette really takes great care of you and make sure you’re happy with the outcome. She customizes the lashes the way your eye shape is and what would compliment you.
I have to say it is difficult to get a hold of her because she’s so busy but trust me the wait is worth it!

She is my lifesaver, and makes me gorgeous every week, without fail! My lashes (ash extensions) stay perfect, even though I split my time between The Bay Area and Hawaii, even with swimming and humidity!
Every day I get at least one compliment on my lashes, and no one can tell that they are indeed extensions, and people think I am just naturally this stunning! ;) I am forever indebted to Lynnette for this, and no matter what I will continue to see her every week until she no longer does lashes! (Hopefully that never happens!)
