Bojana Korach photography is a boutique photography business based on fine art principles. Photographer Bojana Korach strives to establish a perfect combination of fine art and real life imagery. Bojana captures the action of a wedding day in a photo-​journalistic fashion and at the same time crafts images artistically by adding fashion/​editorial touches. Her final goal is to create a stylized story of her client’s most special day. Bojana Korach’s mission is to deliver a cohesive collection of photographs which perfectly translate the emotion, joy and love of the most special day.

Bojana Korach is a photographer who knows the importance of preserving life’s special moments. Whether an intimate maternity session or smile filled family session, Bojana strives to make each photo shoot fun, relaxed and spontaneous.

Bojana’s goal is to create beautiful art which translates each family’s unique story.

Established in 2008.

After shooting a wedding for a friend and a brief career in the corporate world, Bojana Korach Photography was established.

Business Owner

Bojana Korach, born in Croatia, moved to the United States at the age of 17. Her love for taking pictures fostered her pursuit of education in photography. In 2001, Bojana received an Associates Degree in Fine Art Photography from St. Louis Community College. She continued her education at Webster University, where she received a B.A. in Photography in 2003.

Currently, Bojana resides in Walnut Creek area. She is married to a wonderful and loving husband of eight years and has two beautiful dogs Fozzy and Zoe.

Having someone come to your home when you have a newborn is nerve-​racking. Even more so when that person is taking pictures of you. Luckily for us, Bojana was our newborn photographer and not only put me, my husband and our baby at ease, but she did a wonderful job.
Bojana was responsive, professional, and great to work with. Not only was she a pleasure to be around and knew exactly how to work with a baby (and her awkward parents who aren’t used to getting their photos taken), but she was quick to finish our photos and deliver an absolutely beautiful product. We can’t stop looking at our newborn pictures (I teared up when I first saw them); we’ll treasure them for a very long time! It’s exactly what we wanted.

My wife and I give Bojana our highest and most enthusiastic recommendation. Her company did the photography for our wedding in Sonoma in January and her incredible photographs have created unreal memories of a once-​in-​a lifetime weekend.
Bojana patiently walked us through all of the necessary steps and through her consultations and excellent communication skills, we were able to develop a vision for the weekend that could not have worked out better. In particular, we had a multicultural wedding with two ceremonies and numerous moving parts and with the help of her fantastic colleague Sonia, we could capture everything in a way that perfectly blended her professional touch and our own sensibilities. While our wedding was nearly a year ago, the warm memories of working with Bojana and Sonia on that day and wonderful photographs are lasting.
Again, we cannot recommend Bojana more highly. Should we have a special event in the future, we will absolutely rely on her to chronicle the occasion.

Bojana is able to capture precious moments through her beautiful, natural photographs. We just had our newborn photo session, and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. During our session Bojana put us as ease with her down-​to-​earth personality and was very gentle and patient with our little one. Her props and backgrounds were simple and classy without much flash, and she was very open to our ideas of what we wanted our photographs to look like. After our session, she let us to know when to expect our pictures through friendly email reminders and had them ready on time. I was impressed by her professionalism and her knack for taking beautiful photographs. If we every need a photographer again, we will definitely hire her again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bojana. The photos turned out so beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for more. Her talent alone set her apart from many other photographers we considered.
In addition to being an extremely talented photographer, she is also an excellent communicator and business savvy. She understands that communication and flexibility are important to her clients. She was so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating of our baby’s wacky schedule. Our little bundle had skipped a nap so she was very cranky. We were worried that she would be crying the entire time. Bojana was very professional, but also warm and understanding. Our babe loved her and was all smiles for her. It made the whole shoot so much easier. We were stressed before the shoot, but once Bojana showed up with her easy going demeanor and down-​to-​earth personality any worries and stress quickly melted away and we were all smiles and laughter from that point on.
She then even coordinated with my husband in secret to release an early photo just a few days after our shoot so that my husband could make a Mother’s Day gift out of it for me. So so so grateful for that beautiful memory.
I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOJANA KORACH! Seriously! Look no further. She’s the total package.

We booked Bojana to take photos our our 2 month old baby girl and the entire experience was great! Bojana made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. She was patient and understanding when the baby was hungry or fussy. The photos are amazing and everything we wanted — we are so excited to share them with our family. We love Bojana! We had her take our son’s newborn and 1 year old pictures. They were amazing! Everyone knows babies are extremely fussy and difficult, but Bojana was patient and knew exactly how to get their attention. Each session was a 2 – 3 hours long and we felt we got our money’s worth. Our son’s newborn pictures took almost 4 hours and we had a lot of quality shots. The pictures are natural and very well done. I could tell they were not a result of extensive photo editing but really skilled photography.
So approved! Thumbs up! Even recommended a friend!

I kept looking around for months for a perfect photographer for my maternity photoshoot. When I saw Bojana’s blog i knew she was the one for us. My husband and I are not much of posers and I believe we were least prepared for a photo shoot. Bojana was so casual and free. She let us be us and everything was so natural. The pictures are so natural yet beautiful I cant believe its us in there. Kudos to Bojana. Serious recommendation from my end. Go for her. Shes as good as it gets and within the budget.

Stop your search right now. I STRONGLY recommend Bojana to anyone looking for a baby photographer. I cried when I first saw a teaser photo for my baby’s first photo shoot. Bojana did an incredible job capturing the moments. She was professional, patient, responsive, on time. In fact, the more I think about Bojana, the more passionate I am about referring her to all my friends. She was flexible with our schedule as my baby got sick and then I got sick. She showed up 20 minutes before schedule just to make sure she was on time. Great work. I can’t say enough nice things about her.

After searching extensively on Unilocal and word of mouth, I was excited to select Bojana as our photographer for newborn photos of our daughter. Her photography really spoke for itself. She didn’t rely on props, but utilized the natural light, simple backdrops, great composition and a ton of patience to capture our little one’s expressions and our quiet moments as a family. We loved that each of her photos really let our daughter’s personality shine organically. She captured our family simply, naturally and beautifully. I can’t stop looking at the photos again and again!
In addition to the great photos, Bojana was very easy to work with and very professional in every communication. I had scheduled the shoot 10 days after my due date and of course, we went waaaay past my due date — little girl arrived 2 weeks late! Bojana proactively reached out to me to see if the date still worked for me and was very easy to reschedule with when baby arrived later than expected. At our house, she was super patient… and I mean, SUPER. My daughter was refusing to sleep (what newborn doesn’t sleep?!?), and Bojana went over our shoot time by an hour+ so we could get some sleepy shots. She was so nice about it, too, which made it much less stressful for me as a new mom still figuring things out.
Overall, I recommend her to anyone looking for a baby photographer — without any hesitation. Beautiful photography and very easy to work with. Check and check.

Well, following a 6-​star amazing newborn session we recently had Bojana back for our 6-​month session and it was 7-stars…yes the pictures are beyond amazing… we waste at least 2 hours at work staring at them. We plan to have Bojana back for the 1-​year session… and the 2-​year session… and 3-​year session… and graduation… and wedding… you get the point right? My guess is that within a year or two she will be so busy that she will likely need to decline many requests…

Excellent in every way
I have only the very best things to say about Bojana, and I recommend her unequivocally to anyone who is looking for a maternity and baby photographer.
First, she is an excellent photographer. I myself have been a photographer for over two decades, and I love love love her images. Her style is very natural, with lots of beautiful natural light. She captures a variety of angles, positions, and compositions. The photographs are artistic and an excellent balance between formal and candid. The images are simply beautiful and will last a lifetime.
Second, she is easy to work with and highly responsive. Despite having a ton of business, she is super duper fast on email and text. She remembers what we discussed regarding pricing and packages. During the shoots, she takes her time and doesn’t just click away mindlessly before I am ready (since I am not comfortable in front of the camera, her taking her time lets me relax instead of feeling rushed). She gives very helpful directions and has lots of ideas of positioning. I feel very very comfortable in the shoots, and it shows in the pictures. She is punctual and also finishes the deliverables in the agreed upon time. She came prepared for her shoots with lots of props and equipment.
It’s evident that she puts her heart and soul into her work and really tries her best to make her clients happy. I am extremely happy with my experience with her and would recommend her highly.

Bojana is fantastic! To start off she was easy to work with to get time set up for our newborn photos when I was living on the other side of the country. Once it came time for our photo shoot she was very professional, PATIENT, and open to ideas. We had to take some breaks for feedings, changings etc and she didn’t seem to mind at all. Most importantly we love how our photos came out! They are beautiful and even better than we were hoping for.

We are so happy we found Bojana! After looking her up on Unilocal we met up and she was so professional and prepared. She gave us couple of great ideas for engagement shoot and we decided to go with her. It was a great decision!! Absolutely love our engagement photos ! The whole experience of was great! We received our engagement photos from Bojana today-​and I have to say I had tears in my eyes! Photos are fabulous and I still cant get over how well she captured our personalities! I am so, so happy we found Bojana! She is so great to work with — so talented, creative, great eye for details, and, what meant so much to me is that she made the whole experience so fun! My fiancé is not confortable in front of camera but Bojana made him feel relaxed and he even told me later that he enjoyed it.:))We both agreed that she was a great choice and we actually just booked her for our wedding shoot for next year! Unilocal came through again!
Having moved across the country to California in the middle of December 2014 and almost immediately finding out we were pregnant, I knew we’d have to find a photographer in the area to capture our growing family memories.
Without any friends to lean on for word-​of-​mouth recommendations, we found Bojana through Unilocal reviews, and, after a few quick email exchanges, booked her for a maternity session.
Bojana has hit all my «photographer check marks» so far including: quick and informative responses to email, reasonable pricing, professional attitude, flexibility in scheduling, and most importantly: the ability to make my super-​shy self feel comfortable in front of a camera.
We got the images from the maternity session back earlier this week and we’re in love with the results. Check out her blog if you want some idea of the range of the quality and creativity.

We just had a baby!!! And we wanted to have some special memories from when our baby was still in the belly, so when we found out about pregnancy, we got in touch with Bojana and made plans for our maternity shoot.
Photos turned out amazing. So much so, that they will be featured on one of the classiest baby blogs, called On To Baby.
We chose to have the pictures taken in the comfort of our home. I felt very comfortable with Bojana as our photographer. She came prepared with photo suggestions in her folder, she included ideas I wished to incorporate and most importantly, she guided us through the posing. The whole shoot was very relaxed and photos speak for themselves!

I couldn’t be more happier with our pictures of our little girl! This being our first baby I wanted to capture beautiful, professional pictures. I searched around through Unilocal,made a few phone calls to research prices. I stumbled upon Bojana. Emailed her to ask a few questions and she was very responsive to ALL my emails.
Based upon the Unilocal reviews and her responses on email, I felt comfortable setting up the appointment for newborn pictures. I also found her prices to be very reasonable. I was looking for someone to be able to come to our home. I couldn’t imagine packing up a week old baby to go to a studio. Anyway, I booked my Appt. and Bojana came to our house. Felt very comfortable with her in our home. Set up didnt take too long. Once she started it was great. Baby girl was sleep most of the time. Bojana made time for us to stop to nurse baby.
Too make a long review short, we got out cd of pictures within the week and she made sure to follow up and check if we received the cd.
Definitely pleased with our experience!
