Calvary Chapel Walnut Creek

History

Established in 2014.

Calvary Chapel Walnut Creek is a church plant that started as a Home Bible study in June of 2014 in Jared & Angela Thomsen’s living room. God began to grow it and soon there was a need to meet elsewhere and God opened the door for us to meet on Sunday nights at Walnut Avenue Methodist Church. We met at this venue for about 8 months, and in April of 2015 we moved to a new time and location at Valle Verde Elementary School on Sunday mornings. Jesus is faithfully building His church here as the Word of God is taught faithfully, we seek to love Jesus and others genuinely, staying dependent upon and led by the Holy Spirit, keeping things balanced and Biblical — and desiring to see the world around us drawn to Jesus Christ, and that He is glorified in this church!
