Walnut Creek, CA
Small community park which is located next to pleasant hill Bart parking garage and a few apartment complexes. I’ve never seen it crowded. There is a small creek bed which is dry most of the year. It’s a good picnic spot especially on a hot day as most of the park is shaded.
Drawbacks would be the small size and lack of playground for kids or a large open area if you want to play football, soccer, etc
