Futures Redefined Inc

I bought a Groupon for four man-​hours of landscaping for Futures Redefined last April. I have been unable to contact the business to arrange for service. The emails bounce back. The website is defunct. The phone number rings straight to voicemail and there is no outgoing message on the phone so I do not know if it is a legitimate business phone or not. I have been seeking reimbursement from Groupon for the past four months and they keep telling me to email the business at the same email address which bounces back as undeliverable. As far as I can tell, this business is either defunct or a scam.

They are small, just starting. Awesome that someone wants to help foster youth gain job skills and make a little money. I had no idea a foster youth once 18 is kicked out into the cold with nothing. These guys give them a leg up in this harsh world. Thanks Jeremy for caring and trying. Give them so work or just give them cash. They also need a truck and its tax deductible. Help Jeremy help the kids and stop whining when they are slow or take time to finish. Its job training. how about when they get there give them extra cash for a donation then use them and tip them. Have patience and show support for something so grand. Help the kids please and thanks Cortney and Jeremy. Ten stars in my book

I honestly believe you should give this company a shot. You will read some reviews mentioning no-​shows but a lot of this was due to a faulty reservation system. I was also a victim of this reservation flaw, but Jeremy reconciled the situation beautifully. He offered to help me with or without a voucher, and he did extremely professional work. He is a stand up guy who is willing to invest his own time and money for the betterment of others.
There are not many people or businesses with this type of integrity left in this world. I feel companies like Futures Redefined Inc should be given all the support possible.

I had originally cancelled the service I had bought on Amazon prime. After a phone call I received asking for a second chance I agreed. Jeremy came to our house and cleaned our yard as requested and did a great job. I think it’s a great service to offer to underprivileged youth and kudos to you for offering that to them!

Bought an amazon local voucher for 4 hrs of yard maintenance. Jeremy came for an estimate because we also wanted some smaller stumps removed, which we figured would be extra. Jeremy told us his crew could include it with the voucher, but he would need a full crew, so scheduled a 1pm appt for the following week. They were a NO SHOW for their appt! We left at least 2 messages and gave them 4 days to get back to us and still no word. Checked my amazon local acct and my voucher says «redeemed by merchant»! Luckily Amazon was willing to give me a refund and did!!!
Their crew maybe professional if and when they show up, but a «no show» with unreturned messages is very UNPROFESSIONAL… Especially if the merchant has gone ahead and deemed the voucher «redeemed» even though the services have not been performed.
The star was because I was able to get a refund. Otherwise I would’ve given this zero!

The one star is given only for the concept of this business-​if it is even true. I had a horrendous experience-​and Jeremy was not true to his word. He and the boys were never on time-​and then didn’t show up when promised. The boys had no tools and no skills. They-​for the most part-​were nice boys and I felt sorry for them. Jeremy is a glib talker-​and talked me into paying for extra service I did not get. Then he actually wrote down his promise and a time to come back and take care of the job himself. He never did… he just kept lying as to when he was going to come back. He took advantage of me big time. I would warn anyone against him and don’t know how he can continue to live with his own stories. It was not only a waste of money and time-​it simply made me furious that he took advantage of my trust.

if I could give them negative 5 stars, I would. I never Unilocal anything, but this experience has been extremely terrible.
Jeremy is completely unprofessional. I made an appointment for 2pm on a Monday. I got a call from one of the workers saying they were running about 1.5 hours late. Fine. I get a call two hours later saying they are not coming, but they will come tomorrow at 8am. No one shows up. I’m calling the worker and Jeremy. Jeremy finally picks up and he said he will be here in an hour or however long it takes for him to get here. He finally shows up with no workers and no tools. He takes a look at the job, and he promises he will be back at 12 pm with workers to clean up the whole yard and to whole out the yard waste and junk in my backyard (which I agreed to pay extra for). i told him that I was flexible and I understood if he’s get different projects, but I needed this done today. He promised everything was supposed to get done this day. Nope.
No one shows up. I’m calling and calling. finally I get an email saying that two employees are on their way. After about 1.5 hours, no one is still here. I walk my dog and there are guys double parked in front of my house just waiting and trying to call Jeremy because they didn’t have my number or the correct address. Luckily, I was walking my dog and saw them. The two guys had no tools. After about an hour they leave because their shift ended and they needed to go home. I call Jeremy to figure out what is going on, and he says he will come tomorrow at 8am with workers and everything will be handled. Please keep in mind I’m missing work for all of this. I just needed to get this done, as I needed my backyard cleaned for a party. The two guys show up at 8am (again without tools) and start working. they clean up the yard, but their pissed because they have no tools and no bags to put all the yard waste in. they keep calling Jeremy (who apparently told them that he was going to be there). The guys did a good job picking up the weeds and clearing things out (using my tools). Jeremy and his girlfriend told me that they are coming with waste bags and will haul my junk. They say an hour. They don’t show up. I get a voice message that someone will come at 3pm to haul stuff away. No one shows up. I’m calling Jeremy and we have a few exchanges, and then he finally tells me that he’s cancelling the hauling. He had to hire other people and was going to come out of pocket for it, and I should have given the money to the workers for the hauling. Why would I pay for something I wasn’t sure was going to get done. He tells me he’s done his part, and there is nothing else he can do. He said I can hire someone else to haul everything away. At that point, I just ended our conversation.
The guys did a great job. I was happy with their work, but I was not happy with Jeremy. It would have been better to tell me that he couldn’t do this project at this time, and he will refund me what I paid for the groupon, or to try to schedule at another time

Jeremy contacted me because he knew I was not satisfy for the service. He texted me said he will come back to finished the job with no charge. I was so happy and he said he will come back at the following Tuesday.
I texted him on 9 am that he supposed to be arrive. He said he will be my home after dropped off his workers.
Got his message at 12 ish, he said he had a traffics issue so he will arrive late. But he promise he will my be home on that day.
By the end of the day, no one show up and no more text.

Exceptional service! They showed up on time and were professional and did a great job. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a job done. They are doing a great job in teaching young kids important life skills.

Bought a Groupon deal because my backyard was a mess of weeds and an overgrown tree. Jeremy arrived on Memorial Day (much to my surprise that he was even working that day) and cleaned up my weeded mess of a backyard. It’s beautiful — and he offered to come back to lay weed-​covering tarp and rocks so those pesky weeds can be gone forever. What a bargain for such great work!

Bought an Amazon Local deal for 6 hours of work. Called the number on the Amazon Local deal (provided by the merchant according to Amazon) only to find that the number was no longer available (or some similar message). Called Amazon, got a different number and email address. Emailed to ask some questions, its been 3 days and still haven’t received a response. Called the number and asked about service, was told next week was available but they were driving so they would call me back in 15 minutes. 2 days later I still haven’t heard from them.

I bought a Groupon deal for $ 58 for 6 hours of landscaping. I wanted to remove the trees in my side yard and back yard. I know tree removal can be very expensive so I wasn’t sure they would do it. Surprisingly, the owner, Jeremy, said his team will remove all the trees regardless of how many hours it will take. On the day of the project, 3 young men showed up. They were very professional, well-​mannered, and very hard-​working. They removed all the trees and even offered to come back to finish the project. Wow, the Groupon deal can’t get any better than this. I highly recommend anyone who needs yard work done to give them a call.
The reason for the 4 star is because there were two times they didn’t show up on the appointment and we had to reschedule. Otherwise, their work is a 5 star for me.
