Graduated in 1976 from Cal State Long Beach with a BS in Business Admin. Magna Cum Laude. Graduated from Newport University Law School in Southern California in 1998. Member of California Bar since 2000.

I have extensive background in real estate, family law and finance. Started Legal Practice in Walnut Creek, 2002 and have handled divorce, child custody, child and spousal support cases, eviction defense and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Cases. I love helping people in need resolve complex issues with confidence and concern for their immediate and future welfare.

Look no further! I had hoped never to have to seek help from a family law attorney ever again, but… alas…Let’s just say that I have had more than my fair share of dealings with nasty, unknowledgeable, greedy… did I say nasty… creeps of both genders. Mr. Fosco is nothing less than a prince…, maybe a king… It’s like, «What’s a great, smart gentleman doing in a field like this?» Mr. Fosco listens and he is not a clock watcher. His advice is solid and based on years of experience. Consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to work with him! I can’t believe I am writing a recommendation for a… lawyer, instead of pizza restaurant, but Mr. Fosco is a gem.

I knew Micheal thru Bar Association. I checked him on Yep to make sure I don’t run Into a lawyer who just wants to dig on my little money. I felt less tressful when I talk with him and keeping track on the time cause he didn’t charge me additional time that he spent. I could sense he is the lawyer for people with little money like me, of course he has to be good. He didn’t promise me to do what the best for me but he has done his best. I am not happy even I won because we both lost. I still have to pay for the lawyer but I am glad that Micheal works for me with his kindness and humanity that not sure I can find in others.

I left a message with Mr. Fosco’s office late on a Friday afternoon, and I was surprised when he returned my call at 7:30 that evening. We met at his office after an initial phone consultation, and I was immediately impressed with his personable, and professional demeanor. My case has been very complex, ultimately leading to trial, and Mr. Fosco’s legal expertise and dedication has proven invaluable. He carefully thought through every aspect of the case, and was very responsive to phone calls and emails. Michael Fosco patiently explained every element of the case as we went along, communicated effectively and efficiently with opposing counsel, and was successful with motions in front of the judge. I have the utmost confidence in Mr. Fosco and would recommend him without hesitation, for any legal matter.

I meet Michael through a referral as I was having legal financial issues that were well beyond my area of expertise. After carefully reviewing my case he accepted me as a client and began to start working on my case. I felt a sense of personalization with Michael that I hate to say haven’t really seen in lawyers that I have dealt with in the past. With a small initial retainer Michael worked tirelessly on my case answering any and all of my questions thoroughly and not charging me a dime for additional time spent on my case.

Mr. Fosco is very nervous in front of the judge. He gets flustered and can’t present a clear line of questions. He is a terrible trial attorney.

Went to Michael after my divorce got less clear cut and more cut throat. Sat down with him and told him what i needed. He doesn’t promise what he can’t do (who would have thought an honest lawyer?) and he will tell you what you need to know not what he wants to tell you so he will be your attorney. He is very nice not one of the slick used car salesman type you can run into. He will help if he can and tell you if he can’t. Charges less than most, I got to him because he was recommended by my girlfriend. Would send almost anyone (except my ex wife) to him.
