This review is long overdue. I went to Mr. Pastor for a consult regarding misdemeanor criminal domestic abuse and child abuse charges. I took the police report in with me told my side of the story and how the police fabricated things in their report and how certain things never happened. During our consult, Mr. Pastor told me he needed to «meditate» on the case and proceeded to close his eyes and meditate. He then told me that he thought I would be convicted of at least one of the charges and the best thing to do would be to go to as many child abuse classes as possible and hope to get the charges dropped to lower charges, and that he would try to drag this case out as long as possible until that happened. He said that I needed to make «life changes» even though I have never been an abusive parent, and this whole case was total bulls**t. I left his office feeling so upset and hopeless! But I knew these charges were wrong and unjust. I ended up going to trial with a public defender to fight the charges. Before the trial the DA tried to make a deal to drop all 4 charges against me as long as I plead to a misdemeanor for disturbing the peace. I still said «no way.» We went to trial over the course of 1.5 days and I was found not guilty of all charges. The public defender fought for me from the very start. She was very smart and knew the ins and outs of the whole court system, the judges, and the DA. She told me how she had people accused of these types of charges all the time and how ridiculous some of these cases were, and how she got not guilty verdicts all the time. I am so glad I went to a public defender and did not listen to this wacko’s advice. I advise anyone with legal trouble to not go to Mr. Pastor as he is more of a life coach and not someone who is going to fight for you.
