Michelle You is a seasoned English Chinese Translator, Editor and Interpreter who leads a strong team of Chinese Mandarin & Cantonese translators & interpreters based in the US. She is a native Chinese speaker with excellent English communication skills who graduated from Tsinghua University (清华大学), a top school in China. She has lived in San Francisco Bay Area and dedicated to helping businesses and individuals with Chinese language linguistic services for over a decade.

Michelle You graduated with a Master’s Degree from Tsinghua University (清华大学), a top university in China. She has worked as an IT consultant for 6 years in China, Singapore and USA. She ventured into financial industry in 2004 and then started her own businesses and became a professional in finance (accounting, tax, insurance) and legal (contract, business & tax law, government regulations). She has lived in the US for more than 15 years.

Thanks to her language talent and excellent communication and writing skills, English Chinese translation has been part of her job since 1990 and turned into her lifelong passion. As a freelance Chinese linguist, translator and an entrepreneur who leads a strong team of US based Chinese Translators & Interpreters, her diverse subject matter expertise and rich life experience in both Chinese and American cultures are invaluable assets to her team and clients.
