History

Established in 1985.

Movers4Less has always been located from the start in Walnut Creek, CA. We have had the same owner, Mark, since the company was formed. Mark has worked as a mover for hire as a young man. He started advertising in the local Contra Costa Times newspaper for odd moving jobs.

This worked out well with a lot of success and helped Mark saved up to buy his first moving truck in 1985.

Meet the Business Owner

Walnut Creek is Marks hometown. His first job at the working age of 18 was as a mover for a local moving company that specialized in local moves. Mark liked the idea of staying local and decided he was going to open his own moving business someday and use the same strategy as the company he worked for. In 1985 Mark saved up enough money to get his first truck and open up shop.

Both Marks parents live and work in Walnut Creek. He is a hometown boy and plans on retiring here with his wife of 25 years when the time comes.
