Apprenticeship includes grooming, horses, cleaning track, sweeping, blanketing the horses, riding; just about everything it takes to own a horse, and train it too

AMENITY

We are known as a very friendly barn. This is a great place for children and teens to make friends, build self-esteem, overcome fear, and grow as a person. We have seen incredible changes in kids after coming to summer camp, lessons, etc.

Fully enclosed, large riding arena. That leaves us open all winter long. Even if it is raining, the lessons are inside and protected from the wind and the rain.

Very private and safe learning environment.

History

Established in 2005.

This is our family owned business. We invite the public to learn to ride horses in a private, fun, beautiful setting. In the words of our clients, «this is the most wholesome place to learn to ride.» We hear these comments over and over. In the words of one Girl Scout Troop, «Our girls said this is the best activity we ever spent our cookie money on!» Adults, teenagers, and children, come and never want to leave. We teach horsemanship. We teach you how to communicate with horses and through that experience people learn how to communicate better with each other. This is our mission.

Business Owner

We are a family run Equestrian Center. We strive to provide an intimate and fun family environment where adults and children learn about horse behavior. We keep our stable very personal and you will never ever beat the one on one service you receive here. Once you come to North Gait Equestrian Center, you will not want to leave. You will learn the basics of hand walking a horse, grooming, tacking, and riding. You will learn why a horse reacts the way they do, and how you can prevent accidents while you ride. We have an excellent safety records and safety is our most important concern. We have a huge covered arena set off in a private setting. It is about as safe a place to ride as you will ever find. Come see for yourself.
