We brought our daughters here for their birthday. They are twins. What a mistake. They forgot orders, drinks and now their birthday. I have paid the bill and we are ready to go but we are still waiting. What a joke. We will never come here again.

Curb side pick up was inaccurate with time and made me and my boyfriend wait over 15 minutes past the assigned time. I would have been more appreciative if they would have told me over the phone that it was running late rather than having me believe that they were on there way out after our chat on the phone at my arrival.

I’ve dined at many a PFCB and this store rivals all of them. Delightful service, consistent and well prepared dishes, and great strong drinks. It’s not Chinatown fare. You won’t find Butternut Squash dumplings anywhere else. Josh and Lindsey, mixologists, give you the right mix of bar chatter and kindness. Maybe other PFCB can take a lesson.

Great service, horrible food! We ordered the orange chicken and instead of a sweet glazed sauce(thats typically how it’s served) our chicken was dry and the sauce tasted like spicy chicken wing sauce instead. It made absolutely no sense! It was the worst food related experience i’d ever had at PF chang’s and most likely will never go back.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and I’ve never had an issue until last night. I know you’re probably wondering why I’m giving 4 stars to a restaurant that I’ve had an issue at, and here’s why: In the customer service world, it’s not about the mistake that was made, but more so on how the people on the service end resolve it. We’re all humans, so mistakes will be made. Kudos to one of the managers here who caught my issue, resolved it and made sure that I left a happy customer. The food here is consistent, and the now I can say the service is as well. My favorite items to order are: Orange Peel chicken, Spicy Green Beans, Pork Dumplings(pan fried), and their Singapore Street Noodles. Their sauces are always a great addition to anything you order. PF Changs is alright with me!

So good! Everything with our evening dining experience on 12⁄6 was on point! Our food arrived without much of a wait, drinks were constantly filled, nothing over-cooked. This is the first time in awhile that my kids finished all of their food– it was that damn good! I’ve been craving this place ever since

Totally acceptable food, though a bit on the simpler side. For the price, I want more. They seem to do too many different menu items and haven’t specialized on one type of food? I dunno. Unimpressive. Service wasn’t wonderful, either.

Wish I could give zero stars. Food is very salty; you’re going to need a lot of water. But unfortunately, the service is horrible too and I had to get get up and get my own water. I would recommend going to an inexpensive Chinese restaurant. You get better food and service for less. I wasted my time and money at PF Chang’s. Never coming back.

I gave them 4 stars for the amazing food. Mongolian Beef is delicious, love the chicken wraps, love the broccoli beef, love the spicy chicken and definitely one of my favorite asian cuisine places… their cocktails are delicious! I could get drunk on them just because they taste so good I want more! However, the wait can be long. The service is great if you get the super awesome bald headed server guy who is usually there on the most busy of nights and ridiculous nice and chatty… I have no idea why I cannot remember his name. I always seem to get him! One of our dishes came out super late, it is family style, but happened to be the order of my company… it came out super late — after our dessert! The manager was so kind, he comped our whole meal for the horrible misshap… it was made worse because if it had been on time, my toddler would not have become restless, impatient and destroyed the table from boredom. Throwing stuff off of it… it is a bummer they do not have anything to entertain children. I like how they mix your sauces to your tasting or give you the option of doing so, I have been coming here for years and like many restaurants that loose their spirit and pizazz, this one has kept up it’s energy and image — even through all of the construction! I also enjoy the ambience and large mirrors which make the place look larger and less cluttered. The tables are not very comfortable, but the booths are great and I enjoy the lit candles on the tables. Definitely a great place to come and enjoy your evening! Be prepared to wait, though!

Not a big fan of fancy Chinese food. I don’t really have anything negative to say about this place, kind of expensive. More of a place to impress a date.

They are usually packed which is probably the reason why the service is kind of slow. But our server, named John compensated with his excellent service. He checked in on us often to see if everything is ok. & he is very receptive to our needs. The food is good, chicken lettuce wrap is a must, pad thai is great & for the drinks I specifically like their piña colada. They have options like, meal for two which is a good deal since it includes, soup, 2 entrées & dessert! But in our case we had so many leftovers since its more like good for 4(in my opinion). I would come back here for sure! & probably other food that other peole are raving about. :)

My husband and I decided to try something new for lunch and picked this place. The restaurant is set up nicely with a beautiful bar. The service from our waitress was horrible. She did not pay attention to us. We had to ask another waiter for service. It seems as if hanging out with the hostess was a little more important. For how expensive lunch was($ 75) I guess we expected exceptional service and food. The food was not bad, the dynamite shrimp was delicious. I recommend it! I must say we won’t come back to the Walnut Creek location again. Sad to say.

Walked in at 2:00pm for a late lunch and received our food within 10 minutes of ordering. Our server, Omar, was very soft spoken, but was very quick to refill our beverages when it was low. Great service! Food was very well done! I ordered the Beef with Broccoli. Broccoli wasn’t soggy like other places and still had a slight crispness to it. The beef was tender and had lots of flavor. My mom had the chicken satay and she enjoyed it. Chicken was tender too. Not overly grilled. The coconut and peanut sauce was nice, not too overpowering with the chicken satay. She also ordered some type of ahi tuna salmon roll with rice paper. According to her, it’s not bad. Ahi tuna pieces in the roll were small. Just be careful of the seats in the booths. They have some oil residue from previous customers. Total: $ 35.53

Tch, Tch. Golden is a waitress I did not appreciate. I’m surprised my lady tipped even a bit for such rude customer service. With that said, $ 50.00 for family style Chinese food that I can get for $ 30 less was not all that great. It was just like any olé’ regular Chinese food that I could of gotten at China Town in Oakland. We got walnut shrimp, honey fried chicken & combination fried rice. I at least wanted to pay a premium for the first time experience but Golden, our waitress did not please. The restroom was disgusting. Paper towels filled to the top of the trash can, in addition to it being on the floor. Also, no fortune cookie? You can’t be considered a Chinese restaurant unless you give fortune cookies when we paid that bill, Golden. C’mon now. Never again will I come here, I’m sure if someone asks about it; I’ll then tell them not to attend this bad excuse for a Chinese /Asian based restaurant.

I came to P.F. Chang’s for Happy Hour around 4pm. From just this experience, I can say the service varies between slow and fast. When my friend and I arrived, there was no 2-people bar seating available, because no groups want to sit next to each other. That’s fine, but as newcomers, there was also no one to really help us out and tell us what seating is considered happy hour seating because all the waiters/waitresses were so busy. As soon as someone finally came by to help us though, the whole process got a lot faster. Our drinks and food came out very fast. The happy hour prices seem decent, ranging from $ 3-$ 7, but the portions are small, so if you’re not very hungry, this is probably the place for you. I tried their Red Sangria and Saigon Summer Rolls. The red sangria was pretty good, not a very strong alcohol taste. The summer rolls were okay– the skin outside was a tad rubbery and the overall flavor could be a bit stronger including the sauce. It kind of tasted like I was eating salad wrapped in rice paper. However, they could also be catering to more non-Asian customers. Despite the summer rolls, I would definitely come back here again for happy hour to try out their other menu items.

I’ve been to this location twice now, both on a Friday night for happy hour. The first time was pretty quiet while the second time was full. Both nights, my experience was pretty good. Quick service, tasty bites, smooth drinks and the Giants game on at the bar. Their happy hour has some decent deals on it and everything I have tried I liked including: pork dumplings, fried crab wantons and the chicken tacos. The tacos are particularly interesting because they wrap them in jicama. The only thing that was so-so was the California roll. Too much rice, not enough filling. The two whiskey sours I had here were fine, no complaints. I realize this is a chain, but I might stop by again for a consistent happy-hour experience.

Kids meals are $ 4.95 and $ 3.95 including a drink! Can’t beat that. I usually get a starter, small plate and a soup. Not a bad deal and it fills me up. Overall the environment, food, and service is great.

My family and I used to come here all the time, but haven’t been here in a while. I recently ate here this past week and enjoyed myself. We all shared the Waldorf Salad, Shrimp Dumplings(which were amazing), and a sushi roll. The food was delicious, but the service was EXTREMELY slow for it being literally an empty restaurant! Our server took our order and came to ask if we wanted anything else, nothing in between. Oh well! Still a great time.

It doesn’t really need to be written, because it’s so obvious, so I’ll write it anyway: P F Chang’s is not a typical Chinese restaurant. It’s a place where you go on an expense account, or date night, or with your girlfriends, and you feel like having Chinese-like food so you go here. Spicy Sesame Chicken With Rice meets Beverly Hills, I guess. If I wanted the real thing, I’d go to Shan Shan Low or China Wall. But we got a gift certificate to P F Chang’s, so off we went. Celebrate my hunny’s birthday a little early. She looked at the menu nervously, this looked like an expensive place with its somewhat swanky interior decoration. But she was relieved that the entrée prices were slightly reasonable. Again, this is not a typical Chinese restaurant; prices are $$, not $. And the background music was not from Beijing, but from 1990 – 2000 San Francisco. Hmmmmm… We started with Salt & Pepper Calamari, then I had Korean BBQ Chicken Stir-Fry, hunny had the Crispy Honey Chicken. Mine: nice spice on the stir-fry, although not totally memorable and not too hot. Most of the plate was chicken, not vegetables, just the way I like it. Hunny’s Honey Chicken: «Loved it. Chicken was tender and it was sweet.» And a slice of cheesecake with two candles for her bday, but if we wanted singing, we had to do it ourselves. We had a great waitress, although service was on the slow side. So P F Chang’s is a bistro that appeals to many people but not to me, not that there’s anything wrong with it. Good for those who don’t care about authenticity and who have a little money and time to burn. See you at China Wall. ..
