If they were any slower they would be dead. They are inefficient and the billing dept. seems to always get it wrong. Can you say double billing?

My review is actually zero stars, but Unilocal doesn’t have that option. They are completely understaffed for the number of patients coming through here. If you are coming for a urine analysis please wear a diaper because your bladder will fail before anyone sees you. The Quest corporation management probably ran the numbers and discovered that patients are more likely to wait for hours before they will drive to another office.

Not a fluke … Happened twice in 2015.
Test of patience … Waited 3 hours to get 3 tiny vials of blood drawn.
It doesn’t matter if you walk-​in or have an appointment. Several people who had appointments walked out after waiting over an hour. No stars! Not returning to this location again.

Would never go to a Quest Diagnostics again, for any reason. Let me elaborate…
First of all, there is no way to talk to a human via the phone number. I needed to confirm that my doctor’s order had been faxed. There is no way to confirm that. You have to drive there. This ultimately cost me two trips when I could have made one, but wait, there’s more…
So I show up for a routine test I have done there before. Really hoping my doctor’s order has been successfully faxed, but I have no way of knowing since the phone line is 100% automated with no way to connect to anyone. (I even tried the phone tree for physicians, and was put to a voicemail that they never responded to.)
Anyways, I get there and they say that yes they got the order, but they don’t do that lab test anymore. «Please feel free to drive to a lab in Sacramento or San Jose.» My mouth drops. I can drive two hours? Gee, did you think to call me and inform me of that? My phone number is on the fax, a simple phone call would have been unbelievably helpful.
tl;dr: Phone system worse than Comcast/​ATT, and office staff completely dropped the ball on common courtesy. Thank you for wasting several hours of my time.

Do not get your blood taken at this lab. They are completely understaffed. I’m in the waiting room right now and have been waiting for an hour! There is one person working here who also takes the blood. I’m staying to get it done but I will never come back. This is not the fault of the phlebotomist working here, it is a problem with management and staffing.

Diagnosed with pulmonary embolism in December 2013, had to take blood thinners and get my blood tested every 2 weeks. I’m off the medication now but was waiting to post this review. Didn’t want to get stuck with a needle by an angry staff member that read this.
Do not come here! If you’re able to bring your lab work somewhere else, do that. I’m not sure if LabCorp or other Quest locations are any better but this one in particular is a clusterfuck. I know they try their best but the higher ups need to step in, look at how things are run for a day and fix it. Customer service wise was hit or miss. The phlebotomists were only nice to me because I was there so damn often. The best time to go seemed to be right after the lunch rush, 1 or 2 pm.
Always make an appointment! If you don’t, you’ll be in waiting room hell for at least an hour. Do this online because no one answers the phones or checks voicemail. The only saving grace was HGTV playing in the waiting room every time. Nothing soothes me more than those ambiguously gay Property Bros.

Such bad rude service every time. No one speaks English it seems, either. It takes hours to even be seen.

I’ve never been to a business where I wasn’t greeted by anyone for 25 – 30 minutes. Not ever. When I arrived a customer in the waiting area gave me the heads up that they were way behind and they couldn’t find her appointment (she was a 9:30 appt) and it might be 1pm before anyone without an appointment was seen (me). It was 9:20a.m. So I put my name on the sign-​in sheet and waited. A woman came out once to deal with this afore-​mentioned customer, and another woman came out once to deal with the appointment before her (the 9:15am). The 9:15am woman was not in before 9:50 and had a 10am appointment elsewhere. I left at 9:50, having never been called, greeted, or made eye contact with. No idea why I stayed so long. Here’s my advice: go to Pleasant Hill. They were awesome.

Just finished a blood test for my two year old son. Marivel at the front desk was super helpful with my insurance. Annie did the blood draw… and she was incredibly kind and gentle with my son. I am impressed! The location has changed… now 108 La Casa Via. Oh, little wait time, too!

Their address is now 108 La Casa Via. A nice larger waiting room. However the computer gal is the same. She has no clue. I told her my insurance had changed and she never entered the new billing address. I talked to Quest 8 different times untill someone told me that the local office where I get my blood drawn is the one that should be checking that its correct. When I challenged her on it she just said thats what comes up. I tolf her that a different lady had actually gone in and changed in last month. I got no response. This office is terrible. In fact quest the company is a joke.

The only reason I gave it one star was that the person I checked in with was reasonably friendly. The wait was almost 90 minutes. Ridiculous. There were only five people in front of me. But it took 90 minutes before I got in there. Then I told them how long I had waited but no apology. Nothing. They just said it happens. It hurt when she put in the needle. I’ve got good veins, have given blood lots of times. Bad service, bad technicians, ridiculous wait time, tiny waiting room, very stuffy. Will never go there again.

I’m not sure how anyone could be a fan of blood tests. I was able to make an appointment online. There was plenty of parking when I arrived around 9:30am. The waiting room is rather small, there’s only about 8 to 10 chairs.
The feel is definitely like a medical office. I wrote my name and that I had an appt at 9:40am. I think I was called by 9:45am or so. The lady that checked me in and who seemed to be the front desk met me around the other side and took my blood. It was quick and painless so I guess I’m a fan of that! I was already done and back to work by 10am.
I would definitely recommend this location since I had a good experience. I just don’t know anyone who’s looking for a lab lol.
