Nan is a miracle worker! Hence, I am updating my review to share what I consider to be a recent miracle! Ever since I was a teenager I have endured incredibly painful and debilitating menstrual cycles accompanied by PMS. My PMS symptoms worsened after the birth of my daughter. Nan not only said that I could have pain-​free and symptom-​free cycles, she proved it to me! After a serious of sessions with Nan and several months taking the supplements she recommended, I now experience pain-​free and symptom-​free periods! It has been almost a year since my last session with her and I am still experiencing the benefits. I only wish I had found Nan decades ago!

Nancy is as good as it gets. She is such a gift. I initially went to Nancy because I was having a hard time getting/​staying pregnant. I now have a perfect 7 month old and I have Nancy to largely thank. I can’t say for sure that acupuncture is the only reason, but I can say for sure that it was the reason many of my neck and back issues were totally alleviated. Nancy is intuitive and listens– I always felt like she was taking care of me as opposed to going in for a service. I relocated to the East Coast and probably miss Nancy more that the weather! She is awesome.

Nancy is a miracle worker. I had my first visit with her yesterday and already I noticed a remarkable improvement. In fact, what doctors took years to help me with, Nancy was able to do in just 24 hours. I am not kidding folks! I have chronic pelvic and back pain associated with Endometriosis and my gastro intestinal problems /​GERD were making the pain worse. I don’t know how many medications I have tried, how many doctors I have seen and how many methods I have tried (it seems I have tried everything under the sun!) and nothing worked — until I saw Nancy! The acupuncture she performed on me also did WONDERS for my insomnia! I hadn’t had a decent night’s sleep like that in months. I was out COLD and I am usually a light sleeper! I am so pleased about this as pain and fatigue are closely related to stress and poor sleep. The fact that I had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep means my body was at ease, relaxed and pain-​free — which is something I had not felt in a very long time. Thank you, Nancy. Whatever she is doing, she needs to keep doing it because it is working!!! I am writing this review because I am astounded by her talent, I am grateful to her for the treatment she has given me thus far, but most importantly, because I believe I would be doing the community a disservice by keeping her a secret. I highly recommend her!

Nancy Nachtwey is an exceptional acupuncturist. Over the last ten years, she helped me overcome some health crisis with care, knowledge, and insight. Nancy is extremely knowledgeable and generous with her time and attention. She gave me treatments and counseled me on my diet and lifestyle at the end of our sessions. Her recommendations dramatically improved my health, as well as the health of many people I know. She put us on diet, told us to be more aware of our bodies, and gave us potent treatments. For example she treated a swollen gland on my neck in two sessions. I was so concerned about it. Thanks to Nancy, I lost weight, lowered my stress and anxiety, and feel more energized and joyful. Every time my mother flies from Italy to visit me, the first stop is at Nancy’s. I take my mother to Taramantra because I know she will receive the best tune-​up imaginable. .much much better than a visit to a spa. I could not recommend her more. She is a treasure.

Nan is a very talented and gifted healer. Her acupuncture skills are masterful and her capacity to relate to and hear beneath the symptoms, is profound. I felt safe and attended to from the moment I walked into her office. I was experiencing fatigue and I knew that my immune system was low. Through her understanding of what was happening on many levels (not just physical symptoms) she has been able to guide me to a more balanced life. Nan uses a combination of acupuncture and massage that is deep and powerful.
She also guided me through a 3 week cleanse that was the springboard for an overall change in my diet, that has given me more energy and clarity. She helped me to make better choices in my overall self care. I have been an acupuncture fan and client for over 25 years and she is one of the best acupuncturists I have ever experienced. I have referred friends to her that have never had an acupuncture treatment, knowing that they will be well taken care of and that their experience with Nan will be a positive one.

I have received acupuncture for over 20 years, and Nan is truly one of the best. She works on many levels and is holistic in her approach. She integrates it all to effect deep healing: the physical manipulations of the body (she helped my shoulder pain combining acupressure and massage), the energetic tune-​up (wow!), diet and exercise programs. I always have much energy and a peaceful feeling when I leave. Most of all, she is caring, present, compassionate and patient. She takes time with you. I look forward to each visit.

After a session with Nan, my body hums. She is an integral practitioner using multiple modalities to give the optimum opportunity for healing. On top of her excellent skill base, her compassion and insight gives a sense that one is really being taken care of with CARE. The office is beautiful too – it feels like going to a spa. Nan is the best acupuncturist i have ever seen. I highly recommend.

Nan is not only extremely competent in diagnosis, she is so tuned in, I feel her extra sensory perception is what helped me solve the health mystery so many other practioners missed. I had been drinking alkaline water for 3 years, believing it was a way to create optimal health. I was becoming more and more depleted, exhausted, and despite a stellar diet, I had low energy and sleep issues. Nan intuited the need to take a ph test… and yes! I was too alkaline, thus my digestion couldn’t deliver nutirition to my cells! After three months of her excellent dietary guidance, I was back in my life! I’ve been suffering from chronic pain for close to ten years. I’ve tried numerous acupuncturist and had to stop treatment because it was too painful to continue. After trying other modalities and being in less pain, I decided to try acupuncture one more time. Nancy was a wonderful person! She is warm-​hearted and very gentle. The treatment was not as painful as my previous experience. Her nutritional knowledge helped me through my healing process of eliminating all that I, as I later learned, was allergic to. I continue to incorporate knowledge provide because it has been essential in my overall health. I highly recommend Nancy as she is a beautiful, gentle, and knowledgeable person.

I have been seeing Nancy for acupuncture for about 5 years. She is easy to talk to, great with all healing and health problems, and a very sympathetic person. She is also no-​nonsense and talks with knowledge about health issues. She has a background as a nurse and understands both the eastern and western medical philosophies. She was fantastic with my daughter also and helped to diagnose problems that directed her medical care. One of my daughter’s doctors actually said how glad she was that we had used acupuncture to start the diagnosis process because she felt it was more accurate — Nancy has been able to order herbs that we use and responds to emails and calls very quickly.
