I called Dawn a few weeks ago and she got back to me within a few hours. After taking the time to hear my situation she explained various options I could take, even one’s that would cost me nothing. She then gave me a referral for someone who could handle my issue outside of the legal system. She even asked that I let her know how the experience went with her recommendation, and followed up with an email. When I told her the referral wasn’t responding, DAWN contacted the referral and I was able to speak with them!
In the week between my first call with Dawn and speaking to her referral I decided to contract a $ 40 per month legal service that brusquely «handled» my situation by writing a mediocre cease and desist letter that wouldn’t help things. Then Dawn saved the day by writing the best cease and desist letter I’ve ever seen, and communicating with me multiple times during the process to make she she had the information correct. She will only give you quality work. Am so grateful to have her representation.
Am updating this review to say that Dawn’s letter to my former client resulted in a false and defamatory Unilocal!review to be removed immediately. Dawn is an angel in the form of a lawyer… yep now I know they exist :-)

I was hit by an uninsured driver when riding my bike down Mt. Diablo. Dawn not only got me 100% of my available uninsured motorist coverage within months, she also got me the full medical payments coverage. She went the extra mile and worked with the CHP to get the driver investigated for fraudulently providing fake insurance information at the scene. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and made a very painful situation a lot easier to deal with.

Had a great experience working with Dawn, she is very professional, to the point, and realistic. She got us the highest amount of $$ due to our extenuating circumstances, and went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to follow-​up of our case. Not many people out there like her anymore… really looked out for «our» best interests. It was a pleasure to see someone handle a case that; frankly put, was out of time, with such diligence. My family and I have been using Dawn as our attorney for many years. I started needing her help when I sold my business and carried paper for the buyer. The buyer defaulted on the agreement and wouldn’t get out. Dawn made it happen!
There has been numerous times since then that I have had to call on her for legal advice, representation, or a referral; and she has always come through.
I trust Dawn completely and I continue to use her for my business needs as well as personal. I know that I can count on Dawn to be honest with me and to advise me appropriately.
I have and will continue to refer people to her.

Ms. Ceizer falsely states she reviewed 695 pages of my medical records when she was given less than 100 pages of records. Also, I shut her down and told her I was going to go elsewhere when she got annoyed about the situation regarding my medical records may have been tampered with. I rejected her as my prospective lawyer, not her rejecting me as she falsely claims. She would not have even had time to review my records before I shut her down because of all the confusion in trying to get them to her with her not giving me her address and the wrong addresses on the Internet. After shutting her down, I promptly asked for the return of my records so she should not have been looking at them before returning them.
My medical provider already had a release from me to provide all medical records so there was really no problem for Dawn to call my provider and state they needed to properly comply with my request and provide all records. but she was too lazy to do that.
I have hired another attorney who has already settled my first accident and sent me a check.
Basically Dawn is only taking the very easiest cases to prove and wastes your time hunting for the very easiest cases to take.
Finally, it is a violation of attorney ethical guidelines for her to reveal my name on the Internet (my logon does not state my real name) and to publicly declare I have a lousy case when she really did not even review any supporting documents. She only did a 15 minute interview of me and that was it.

Dawn was amazing. I had an issue with my previous office landlord not returning my security deposit within the allowed time frame. After Dawn addressed the problem with the landlord, the check was sent out within days. Dawn really helped me and I would recommend her to everyone. She is up front, ethical, efficient, and affordable. Five stars from me.

Dawn represented myself and my three sisters as plaintiffs in a very important family legal matter. She approached our case with great sensitivity and professionalism. I was impressed with her ability to combine her exceptional knowledge of the legal system and fierce defense of her clients while being able to communicate with us at a very human level. I was also impressed with her near immediate responses to our correspondence by email or phone message. It was a pleasure working with her and having her on our side.

Dawn is the most competent, ethical, and caring attorney I have ever met. (I used to serve as a union rep, so I have had many experiences with legal representatives of all types.) Just look at her outstanding education at Stanford and UC Berkeley, and on paper she is of the highest caliber. But in person, she is even more impressive — easy to talk to, retains information, has great contacts, and she provides options that may not always serve her financially but rather what she would think of as the best possible options in your situation. She thinks about what she would do if she were you. Dawn is a busy individual, but she will ALWAYS get back to you in a timely manner. I could go on for pages, but I will just conclude this review by saying: In her areas of expertise, no matter how much or little financial resources I had available, I would ask for Dawn’s legal advice first. People do not win me over easily. Especially where law and finance is concerned. This individual is special.

I have known Dawn since law school 15 years ago and find her to be extremely bright, energetic, and capable. She works around the clock to make sure she does a good job for her clients, to whom she is very dedicated. If Dawn is able to take your case, I definitely recommend her.

Dawn is one of the hardest working and most ethical professionals that I’ve ever dealt with. I had a somewhat difficult situation with another party that wanted to settle a case under terms that were less than favorable. More importantly, the other party was threatening action that would have made my situation much more difficult.
Dawn was able to accomplish in two phone calls what I fought for months to achieve. She works extremely rapidly and charges rates that are far below what she is worth. Dawn is very helpful and responsive. When my sister had need for an attorney, Dawn went out of her way to refer us to someone who could help. Even though we weren’t in her area she was able to refer us to a local attorney who could lend us a hand. I’ve had to consult with her on a few occasions, she is responsive, professional, and sees right to the heart of the matter. I think the last interaction I had with her was a contract dispute, and her advice led to a conversation with the other party that got us exactly the resolution that we wanted, without having to litigate or even threaten a lawsuit!
