What I love about this place is not only do they have adorable clothing, when I asked for something they don’t carry much of (suits), Cathy immediately got on the phone to a store down the street to see if they could help me – and they did! Going above and beyond even though there is no sale in it for you — that’s the hallmark of great service! Bravo Threads!

This is THE PLACE for hidden treasures. I have been consigning here for 3 years, and the owner is honest, fair, and really just a pleasure to be around. I have been to lots of consignment shops and this one consistently has the best selection. LOVE!

Purchased for $ 350 what was to be a Vintage Gucci tote. Turns out after three (3) other reputable, high-​end Consignment shop owners review of the tote, it is a knock off!
Tried to get store credit and/​or refund and was told ‘it is a consignment store, you get what you buy” and hung up on! Jennifer from Threads suggested I take it to a Gucci store for review — hard to do when none are close by and the tote has no, zip, nada markings inside (as all originals do) to verify authenticity. All three shops I went to said they would, in good customer service, give money back or store credit… not these folks!!! SHOPPERS BEWARE — You can get taken, too !!

I’ve been a consignor for a long time and know the game and I love this shop! One of the best layouts for shopping clothing and accessories… lots of really nice items for a great price.
There are other ladies consignment shops in Walnut Creek… none of which I consign my things because (in my opinion) this one is the best for quality and variety.
P.S The owner is super sweet and friendly!

Threads is awesome! I bought three tops yesterday and my friend bought a necklace and a ring.
Jennifer was super friendly and helpful. She explained some of the pricing to us and even adjusted one that was on the wrong rack. She also said that she had taken the necklace to Like New Jewelry repair for an appraisal and that it was higher quality than sterling silver. She was very knowledgeable about all of her inventory and made the shopping excursion a lot of fun.
I will definitely be back soon!

I really loved… I mean absolutely loved their jewelry section. I bought two items and admired/​considered two more. For me? That’s a BIG deal. I am incredibly picky about my accessories. I can’t remember the last time I bought a piece of jewelry from a consignment store and ADORED it.
I also loved their 50% off rack because, let’s be honest, that’s where I’m most likely to buy from — but didn’t find anything that called to me this trip. I may no longer be a college student, but I’m still paying off loans, 30−50% racks are what bring me in and keep me coming back.
The service this trip was fantastic and the boyfriend was patient as heck. I’ll definitely be keeping this as a stop when I come up for Main Street Rags!

Believe all the 5 star reviews! It was my first time in that store and also my first time consigning. The owner Jen is super nice, not to mention super fair! she is very honest. Customer service is everything to me and she did not disappoint. I will definitely be back to shop and consign (even if my stuff doesn’t sell). Had my first trip to Threads today. Was running errands and ended up getting there 10 mins before closing, so I didn’t get a chance to have an extended look around. However, I’m more of an in-​and-​out shopper anyway and didn’t have much time on the meter so it worked out perfectly. Their prices are fair, the shop is super organized, the service friendly. I grabbed 3 dresses to try on and purchased one of them. Feel like I got a great deal on a super cute piece to wear to a friend’s shower and had a pleasant experience. I like many things about this place — including the idea of buying clothes that are already in circulation at a bargain, really can’t beat it! I will definitely be back.

FANTASTIC Consignment store in Walnut Creek, CA! Finally a place where the people that work in the shop are friendly and warm! Jennifer has a great selection of designer bags, jeans, tops and wonderful jewelry all at outstanding prices. The price points are wonderful and selection is great. First impressions are everything to me, especially when it comes to me spending my cash. I was greeted with a nice hello when I walked in, and when I pulled what I like to call a little black dress off the rack, the salesperson asked if she could put it in the dressing room for me.
Threads has a nice variety of clothes and accessories for very reasonable prices. I will being going back, because I am usually pretty lucky when it comes to finding a deal.

Threads is one of the best consignment stores I’ve ever been to! Its tucked away in a small alley off of Main St., but it’s well worth the short walk!
I almost always find great deals on amazing brands. Clothes are constantly marked down and beyond affordable. A true hidden gem in the middle of busy Walnut Creek! Dresses, sweaters, shoes, accessories… you want it? They have it at Threads!
Jen the owner is truly a wonderful person to get to know. She is fair with her consigning, and with her customers who purchase. Most consignment stores end up giving one side the short end of the stick, not Jen! She has everyone’s back!
I love, love, love this place and I know you will too!

SCORE!!! I was able to find a pair of FRYE boots at such an affordable price! I LOVE ‘em. In addition to Threads carrying great brands, it is very well organized, clean, and cute. Five stars, all the way. Check it out! There are two other consignment shops within a few blocks of this one, who shall remain nameless (other Unilocalers have i.d.‘d them) that can’t hold a candle to this place. Nice as nice can be with fantastic dressing rooms and mirrors everywhere. I scored some brand-​new cashmere sweaters with tags still on them for $ 25 each. Be sure to ask the price, as mark-​downs are frequently taken. While I was there, a person came in with some items to consign. The sales woman was as nice as possible and gave her great advice. It was explained that the owner would be the one to give prices and the person could leave them and return the next day. That is quite normal for a consignment shop. Usually it is the owner or the buyer who prices things, not always the sales staff.

Friendly and polite ladies, consignment leader in Walnut Creek! Forget about lousy Lables Store on North Main Street and its outdated stuck-​up sales assistants! Threads store is efficient and they now have a better selection that any other consignment store! Good on them!
