I spent two years searching for an implant doctor that I could both afford and have a seamless experience: ie. «one stop shopping.» On referral, I called 3 other surgeons who agreed to examine me for a fee; read $ 125.00 americain ! Recently, I checked Unilocal and found Dr. Todd. His clinical model is simple: Free exam to see if you’re a good candidate; all work — implant and crown — is performed by him, for one competitive price.
I appraised him to be a friendly professional with a strong academic background (he currently teaches implant technique to other surgeons). The procedure is in steps :
1. Free exam, with high-​tech 3D scan.
2. Impression of your mouth, where implant will be performed. He then makes a special model which assists in placing the implant exactly where you need it, at the correct axis.
3. Implant is secured. No pain involved in a short 17 minute session, after the novacaine takes effect.
4. Return for tooth restoration (after 3 ½ months), with a «high noble gold crown .»
It all went well, and I paid a very sweet price, amounting to half of what other pros have quoted. The doctor maintains a new, spotless office with free patient parking.
