Vince is a super professional and can restore any blade, chisel, etc. Pieces are ready as promised. THE place for knife and implement sharpening in the east bay.
Added benefit: private free parking at the store and close to FW 24.

I never saw Vito, but was handed my clippers back taken apart. Now I can’t put them back together — apparently, I need to buy the entire blade assembly. It would have been nice to
speak to the person who did this, and not to the lady at the counter. Thanks for nothing.
120.00 clippers are trash now.

Vito’s is the best! I took in a two axes and two hatchets. All of them were dull as a train rail. Vito sharpened them all to perfection for just $ 25. What a pro! Thanks Vito!

Vito’s is the «piece de resistance» of knife sharpeners, the best I have ever encountered when it comes to having your super high quality kitchen knives sharpened. Forget taking your knives to a gourmet kitchen store, we’ve tried that route and what a joke! Vito’s is the only place to go in the SF Bay Area!

There’s nothing worse than a dull knife. I took my chef’s knife and Santoku knife to Vito’s and less than an hour later I got super sharp ninja knives! Great service! Affordable price! Bring all your dull blades to Vito’s! Chop! Chop!

I had a large gardening shears and a small shrub clipper that had never been sharpened. These two items were very dull and didn’t cut very well at all! I took them to Vito’s and for very little cash, the shears and clipper look great and cut very well. Looks like I found THE place for sharpening!

Finally, a business that knows how to sharpen professional chef knives! Very courteous staff. Quick turn around, very low rates. Walked in & within 15 minutes, my 3 knives were done.
I have used other knife sharpening companies in Contra Costa County, but non of them left the edge on my knives like Vito’s.
Thanks guys for a job well done. See you in a month or so when it’s time for my money makers to be sharpened again.

Wow ! an HONEST guy … very reasonable rates. Dropped off some Chipper blades to have sharpened. What a fantastic job, and so inexpensive. Will definitely be using this guy to sharpen other tools for me … Easy place to get to, and parking right in front.

I have been going to Vito’s since Vito was doing all the sharpening and Vince was a young child. Vince learned the trade from his father. He takes a lot of pride in his sharpening skills. It is difficult to find this type of «old world» craftsman type work today. They sharpen my knives, chain saws and everything with an edge, right down to my paper cutter.

I was looking for a place to sharpen my kitchen knives the week before Christmas. In the past, I did them myself or used a booth at the local farmer’s market. Vito’s was recommended by a long time East Bay local — the old fashioned way …- in-​person word-​of-​mouth Unilocal.
Off I went to search out Vito’s — not so easy to find good info on the web, but found the shop in person.
Dropped off the knives and overnight, they were done! Fast, professional and reasonable cost. I spent most of my Christmas in the kitchen doing what I love — cooking with family, everyone who helped asked «How did I get the knives so sharp?» — Well done Vito’s.
