The extensive renovation include an all new electrical and plumbing systems, new (period correct) bathrooms, all new windows, carpet, Wifi, fireplaces and cable TV. The renovation effort was completed in September of 2013.
Meet the Business Owner
Charles E.
Business Owner
Charles and Jackie Snapp and Carrie Snapp purchased The Hotel Rhea property with the dream of affordable luxury lodging, once again being available on Main Street in Walnut Ridge. The Snapp’s have renovated numerous other buildings in Historic Downtown Walnut Ridge. Additionally they implemented a program called Invest in your Dreams to help area entrepreneurs create the business of their dream, while establishing shopping, a coffee shop and yogurt shop in The Grill District, ½ block from The Hotel Rhea. With their family originally moving to Walnut Ridge in 1932, the renovation efforts are the Snapp Family’s way of giving back to the community that provided for their family for many decades.
