I have come to this café many times before. But I have to give a great review because of the new chef. I had one of the best Leek and Egg Wrappings last night. The portion was the biggest I have ever seen and price is very reasonable. But really thought it was great because of the taste. The wrap is very tender thus making the chew without any effort. The cut on the leeks is detailed in small bits that don’t overrun the whole experience. Overall a great dining experience.

I really like this place and I don’t want to give them a bad review, but I just have to since I was so disappointed with my TOGO order today!!! I come here pretty often so I know their portion size. I have dined in and TOGO on many occasions. Usually for the togo they serve it in a wide bowl dish like thing, which is more than enough to satisfy 2 – 3 people’s sweet tooth. However today was a different story. My mom started eating just a few bites in the car and she basically finish 2⁄3 of it already, which is crazy cause the usual order side, both of us would never be able to finish it! The girl who took my order didn’t notify me that they ran out of their usual togo boxes or else I would have definitely dined in. I kid you not… I didn’t even get 1⁄3 of what would come on the normal order. Since they usually pack it in to the containers and this girl didn’t do any of that. I also called the store just now 6 times and no one answered.

DESERVES197674 stars!!! Their drinks are all so good!!! I’m very particular about what I drink and how I like it and they surpass my expectations, I love them! I always get the pearl barley, mung bean, and konjac and I always love it! At first, I didn’t think it would be good because it doesn’t look like a million bucks but man, dont judge a konjac by it’s cover because that drink, was FANTASTIC!!! I could drink it everyday!!! Pearl barley makes it so fresh and delicious! Everything about this place is 5 star worthy!

So disappointed. :(Boyfriend and I used to frequent this place when it was Bin Bin Konjac. Came back again finally since I’ve been wondering if anything changed now that it has a new name. FOOD: We ordered our usual of their healthy dessert selection of barley, red bean, and konjac, but opted for a small this time. When we got our order I was baffled by the topping to water ratio. It was literally 80% water and 20% topping. I remember clearly that BBK used to fill their orders to the brim so it comes out as an actual food dessert rather than a drink. There was so much water we finished it within a few minutes of walking to our car. I was sooo bummed. D: What happened to the portionsssss? :(

I somehow doubt how fresh there taro and potato ball is. It taste a little off. Like they keep it in the fridge for a long time… maybe half rotten. That vs the taste at Meet fresh, the quality difference is huge. There taro ball has a weird sour taste to it… same with there potato ball. It taste expired, left in the water too long. I know if you leave gatorade open and close it with a cap and leave it in the fridge, eventually it will have black spores inside that becomes visible.

I wanted to find a place that I can compare Meet Fresh with and thru Unilocal I found Cubies Konjac. It is a coincidence that Cubies is located in the back of the plaza where Super Arcade is at. An arcade that I come to watch my partner in crime play fighting games. Let me start with, THEPROS: I love their Taro and Sweet Potato Balls. More so than Meet Fresh’s Sweet Potato and Taro Balls. Let me tell you why. Cubies Sweet Potato and Taro Balls taste more homemade. It taste like it is made of real mashed taros and sweet potatoes. Meet Fresh’s Sweet Potato and Taro Balls taste more starchy like it is made from taro flour and sweet potato flour. The price. One order of Cold Grass Jelly comes with 2 toppings cost 4.69. That’s almost half of the price cheaper than Meet Fresh. Now, THECONS: Cubies does not offer coconut milk with their Cold Grass Jelly like Meet Fresh. They dont have Crystal Noodles that Meet Fresh offer as one of their topping. I guess that make the place different from one and another. I am not quite sure if it would consider a con but I live closer to Meet Fresh and farther from Cubies. CONCLUSION: I will definitely come back for more Cubies since I will be at Super Arcade anyways.

I used to come here a lot when it was still called Bin Bin Konjac, and since we bought their $ 100 worth of coupons for $ 75 thing, we’ve been forced to come back ever since. Good thing these coupons still work! They remodeled the place and their menu, so a lot of the combos(shaved ice) are not the same. Instead, they have a three topping option where you can select which toppings you want, and you can choose to select the ones in the combos they had before. I believe it’s a little more expensive, although I can’t be sure because I can’t remember how much they were before. We always used to get the D combination — red bean, konjac, and taro balls which was good. This time, we tried the mango shaved ice and another three topping combo with pudding, taro balls, and red bean(I forget). My sister also got boba which was decent, but nothing too mind blowing. I like how they remodeled though — the old place was getting pretty dingy.

Note: The map location is incorrectly showing major intersection of Amar/Nogales. It’s actually in Stater Bros plaza near Mt. SAC. The food is also tasting good here.

Been here once so far & will definitely be coming back! Likes: –Cute décor café! –Sells a variety of different drinks & desserts. –Drinks sizes are fairly big. I got a large matcha milk tea. –Pretty quiet place to come & study. They have free wifi that works pretty fast! –Parking lot. –Quick and friendly service. Dislikes: –Kind of small. When I first walked into the café, there were barely any people, but as the hour progressed in the late afternoon, the café was filled. –No outlets. If you are going to study here, make sure all your electronics are charged beforehand! Recommend: Yes!

Cubie has the nicest environment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The decorations are so cute. I’ve only tried the shaved ice but it was really good. I asked to add more sugar water, and the staff gladly did it with no extra cost. I’m looking forward to trying their other desserts as well!

I discovered the best shaved ice I’ve ever had well honestly it’s only the second time I’ve tried shaved ice and that was in the arcadia mall that particular shops quality of shaved ice can’t even be compared to the treat I received today it was so flavorful, it had the perfect amount of syrup to create a subtle sweet not overpowering taste that was so refreshing the ice was so light and airy it was divine, the mangoe tasted fresh and flavorful and there was plenty of mangoe in the bowl not only were my expectations exceeded when it came to the quality of the shaved ice but the baristas were really cute :) so small I’m definitely coming back hopefully nothing changes

So glad old bin bin konjac got renovated into cubie! Nice pretty place to hang out, no loud obnoxious music. Service is great — the guy was very friendly and helpful. He made some mistakes but he was very willing to remake it for us. I really like that they have the healthy desserts, especially the chewy taro balls and sweet potato balls. Big parking lot, no trouble finding parking. I think there’s wifi too. Some guy plugged in his laptop and hung out for a quite a bit while eating his lunch. Oh yes they have real meals here too! I love the chicken steak. Its like popcorn chicken but more meat. Yummmm!

Very nice environment, friendly staff. I like their Popcorn chicken & fried squid balls. Matcha is my favorite drink. They have a very special snack, silk-thread roll topped with some kind of green tea stuff. I love it.

I really love the drinks at CUBIE! I have to go there almost everyday. You’ve got to try their matcha milk tea w/konjac and their taro balls. Recently I’ve just tried their Jamaica tea. I’ve heard my mom talking about this kind of tea. She said it’s really good for human bodies, especially for girls. I think the drinks at CUBIE are very natural :)

I like this place. He taro balls are very good. The drinks are health and natural. I also like pearl barley and white ground fresh tea. The shaved ice that contains red bean, grass jelly and taro balls is perfectly combined with brown sugar. The employees are nice: D I am a student at mtsac. I come here almost everyday. The orders are plenty but not to much. The price is nice too.

First visit. The Konjac here is chewy and has a nice flavor. I had the Konjac milk tea and I enjoyed it. My girlfriend had Jamaica she said it is good but to me it was a little too sour. Over all the taste and price is similar to bin bin Konjac the place that used to occupy this location.
