Stuttgart Automobile Service

Was there six months ago. Did not fix my brakes properly. Had to redo the job at the dealer last month, save your money. Dishonest at best.

Very knowledgeable mechanics of Porsche. Great service, reasonable price, definitely making them my go to service shop!

I don’t write many reviews, but I’m compelled to write this one. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a mechanic for my Mercedes ML350. Thank goodness I found this business! First off, what people say about Carlos being a super nice guy is right on target. He’s wonderful, and kind of charming, too. He quoted me $ 660 for the repair, and when I picked the car up it was only $ 225. Carlos was communicative, honest, friendly, prompt and courteous. I can’t say enough good stuff about this place. I’ll be back!

Took my 2009 Audi q7 in this morning for a service due light. Carlos was very professional and friendly. My car was done in less than an hour and way cheaper than an Audi dealer. I suggest this place for your next German auto service needs!!!

Took my 2001 BMW E38 to have the brakes, shocks, struts and performance springs installed. This was a big job that really concerned me, can’t trust just any shop to rebuild your suspension on a BMW. I needed a shop that had a reputation of knowing German Automotive Engineering. I called Stuttgart and spoke to Carlos about this project. He was the only shop out of the 3 German Specialists that recommended certain things that would improve the outcome of what I wanted to do. Carlos offered me a reasonable price for the labor, assured me that my project would turn out to my expectations and his team at Stuttgart breathed new life into my 14 year old BMW. I highly recommend Stuttgart and have started a lasting relationship with this shop. Carlos really made me and my family feel like VIP customers. I’ve been to other Certified BMW shops but Stuttgart stands above the rest.

Carlos is the owner there and he is super nice. My car recently went past its factory warranty so I decided to give Sttugart a try based on its high rating and distance from my house. I got a major tune-​up done and paid about $ 60 for labor (you can’t beat that with a German made).
Couple days later, my engine coils went bad and Carlos offered to replace them without charging any labor. I can’t ask for any deal better than that! Sttugart will be my car’s home from now on!!!

So… Before a trip to Vegas I was doing a pretrip inspection on my recently bought ’06 BMW 330xi and found that it was low on power steering fluid, but one little quirk «CHF 11S ONLY» is a bit hard to fulfill, and the ONE place (O’Reilly) that can even provide what looked like a lifetime supply is $ 36.72 ordered (but I’m leaving tonight!), and the dealer told me it was «about a hundred bucks»… What the???
After looking up Stuttgart online, I went there first thing in the morning without an appointment needed, a tech came up and not only topped it off right away, he didn’t stop there like most auto shops: He also started the car and turned the wheel a few times, spent a good few minutes checking the engine compartment for leaks, checked the levels again and even offered a discount if something WAS found, and after spending almost 15 minutes there he only wanted $ 10. Good, honest service, great price, and I’d come here before I’d consider anybody else!
The only drawback? At least according to their official website and listing here on Unilocal,they’re not open weekends, but they do provide a loaner vehicle for more involved tasks.
*EDIT* Also another major prop? I called to check on prices, and the owner had good memory and knew who I was when I called (I guess this review helped, plus my voice is kinda distinct haha), and it’s been about 14 months since I’ve been there!

Took my Porsche for just a oil change here instead of the dealer because it was more conveniently located. Big mistake. After I got the car back, the onboard sensor said that they overfilled the engine with oil by a LOT. They also did not check the tire pressure as my tires were flat. I posted a pic of what my dash looked like after I got it back from them. Even an incompetent mechanic should have noticed all the dash warnings before giving the car back to the customer. Lastly, my car started CREAKING loudly on turns. Apparently, the mechanic «forgot» to tighten some bolts on the suspension. These were the readily apparent problems I noticed. I have no idea what long term damage the mechanic did, but now I have random electric gremlins.
To add insult to injury, the mechanic (not Carlos) decided to charge me a higher price for the oil change than what Carlos originally quoted. If you’re going to charge $ 200 for an oil change, better learn to do it right.
These guys were not even apologetic over what they had done or that I had to waste another day going back to them to remove the excess oil. I realized the likelihood that these hacks are going to mess up my car is too great to trust them again. I’m sticking with the dealer.

Stuttgart Automobile, is a rare sincere and honest shop that you wont be able to compare to. Carlos is beyond awesome, I had a fuel leak in my 2002 Porsche Boxster-​S I got there before the shop even opened and was greeted by George, great mechanic. He didn’t hesitate to start pulling cars out of the shop and put mine on a lift. Didn’t ask for anything just started helping me out since I expressed to him that it is my daily driver. Within an hour they had already ordered the part and said it would be done that same day. While they had my car up they expressed the things that needed to be attended to in the future but didn’t push the issue as some other places often do. That made me feel great about this place and that’s why this is my new shop for all my cars needs. This place is amazing and even if I didn’t live so close I would definitely make the commute here.

Meh. Not really sure why this place has such high reviews. I took my VW in for an oil change and basic service. Stood there for awhile before anyone even said anything to me. My car took longer than they said it would. When I got my car back, they said they would check the price of something for me and get back to me, and never did. Not going back. Price was about $ 200 something. They never even reset my service sensor. Ugh.

Carlos and team takes care of all my cars. Very honest, and treats you like family.

Carlos has worked on my 911 4 times now. 2 regular maintenance services. 1 repair to the cooling system and a performance upgrade. I have to say his customer service and honesty and expertise are superior.

Well what can be said. My wife’s r350 started idling funny so on a tip from my dad who came here many years ago. We brought it in to carlos. And I must say he was honest and extremely helpful. He didn’t try to up sell or do anything unnecessary. He took the car in looked it over and told us exactly what was wrong before he did anything to it. In the my wife was happy and her car runs like a top. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks carlos your exactly how my dad remembers you many years ago.

I took my Cayman S for regular service and inspection. Carlos and his team are very professional and know they craft extremely well. They took care of my car and price is reasonable.
I am just glad that I found this place.

Carlos is a great guy with great prices and great workmanship. He always shows me the parts that need to be replaced before he takes them off the car, giving even more credibility to his honesty.

I found this amazing shop on Unilocal and I couldn’t be happier. Carlos and his team are very professional, and know what they are doing. I bought a car with lots of problems and Carlos went above and beyond to help me with this mess. I truly appreciate their help and will definitely keep them as my go to shop.

Found Stuttgart Auto Serv. on a listing for Porsche repair shops as I was in need of replacing tires for a 911 with tricky center-​lock rims which many tire shops simply cannot handle. Although Carlos does not do tire work himself he gained my confidence with his knowledge of racing 911s and experience with mounting center-​lock racing wheels. I had tires purchased from
and shipped to Stuttgart. Carlos had my 911 parked inside overnight while the tires and wheels were sent out to sub-​vendor. Carlos also spent time working with a wheel repair service to estimate touching up a curb rash on a rim.
Overall, it was not a big, complicated job but requires a lot of attention to details and coordination dealing with sub-​vendors. The remarkable thing was that Carlos did not add any up-​charge to any of the tire mounting and rim repair work that he sent out for. I paid the rim shop directly for the work and received very reasonable shop rates with no markup. Carlos went through a lot of trouble for a nominal fee on removing/​installing wheels and storing the car.
In conclusion, everyone at Stuttgart were courteous and responsive with good service. I also feel the shop is very honest with their work and is trust worthy.

Carlos took care of me and did a great job on my mercedes… I’ll be back for any future repair.
