Cross Schools of Education is committed to provide academically excellent education which would prepare and challenge students to become exemplary citizens with distinctive Christian character of a global society.

In 2011, The Cross Christian School was awarded as the «Best Preschool in Southern Caifornia» by Best of LA TV, a valuable resource for LA residents when it comes to services they need and use.

Within the span of 13 years, Cross School has spread to the community its success with regards to the students’ excellent achievement as they go to higher levels. The parents are satisfied with the high standards in education provided by our school and by word of mouth, the reputation of the school has been established throughout the district. We have been using the combination of traditional and Montessori way of teaching which makes our curriculum unique and exceptional for the success in each child.

Currently offering preschool, kindergarten, Piano theory and Piano lessons, after school and summer programs, and tutoring in AP courses and test preparation, PSAT and SAT test preparation, as well as several Common Core aligned programs in Math Concepts and Strategies and Critical Writing.

History

Established in 1993.

In 1993, the school was built to service our young generation to achieve the highest potentials of students intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and the physical aspects of development. The Cross Schools of Education was incorporated in the year 1995. Within this school, there are three divisions– the school of music, the preschool and kindergarten, besides «The Cross School, International».

In 1997, the land located in the City of Walnut was purchased and The Cross School was built and completed in 2001. The Cross Preschool and Kindergarten merged with The Cross School of Music and resided in the same location. In 2003, the After-​School program was also added to our school to serve the school age students from the public school in the nearby districts. Many of these students come to our school to obtain higher academic studies which the public schools were not able to provide.

In 2011, The Cross Christian School was awarded as the «Best Preschool in Southern Caifornia».

The Cross Schools of Education is a labor born of love for the children and parents we minister, to the faculty and staff we employ, the community where we are located, and the Lord we serve. We aspire not only to instruct, but also to mold your children into well-​rounded young citizens. We assure to facilitate them in discovering and enhancing their talents and abilities and at the same time developing their values and self-​discipline.

At The Cross, we believe that all children can be incredibly successful if they are truly given the opportunity to learn. Because of this, we endeavor to be a child-​centered school where each student’s character and strengths are enriched through a comprehensive yet individualized academic program implemented by our highly trained, experienced educators.
