5 stars for being exactly what I thought. Fair price, good food, nothing insane, but it satisfied the craving.

My boyfriend and I live just around the corner from this place and we just went today for the first time. The sign says buffet and cocktails, but when entering there were no signs of either. We got two dinner combos and soup for take out. We made a few substitutions to the combos without a hassle. I got sesame chicken and fried rice with crab rangoons. Everything was delicious. My boyfriend had pork with garlic sauce, fried rice, and an egg roll. We started with wonton and hot and sour soup. We both really enjoyed everything. There was so much food, we will get another two meals out of it at least! The inside wasn’t very nice, but we were taking out anyway so it didn’t matter. There was a sign on the door that said from now on they’d be closed on Mondays. We will definitely be going back!

I can’t review the food because I never even got to try it! They hung up on me! What awful service! After putting me on hold for a long time, the guy came back on the phone to take my order. But after I gave him my order he mumbled something about it being«just one order» and hung up on me. I was so shocked. My guess was that he was upset that I ordered dinner for just myself??? Very rude. I will not be calling back.

The food was amazingly good and tasty!!! The ratings on this restaurant should be higher. It is pretty much an eye sore to look at BUT most of your BEST food come out of places like that. My few complaints are the amount of sweet sauce provided was VERY skimpy and $ 2.00 for delivery especially when you have a delivery minimum is OUTRAGEOUS…

The food is ok. Some things are done very well, others are ok, edible but nothing to write home about. Others are meh. The best is the crispy garlic shrimp. Large. Cooked well, not over cooked. Last night was a bit salty but still delicious. Egg roll are spare ribs were ok.

Not sure why they are rated so poorly… Their food is awesome! Best chicken teriyaki ever… Hands down. Their assorted fried rices are good no matter what meat you like… Overall everything is less greasy than the«late night option» in town. Their food had 5 star potential… But the guy that works behind the counter every time I go is always so rude. He even refused allergen info to me until I refused to leave and demanded a refund.

Used to love it here. Ordered every Christmas and pretty much anytime I was visiting Waltham. Was born and raised right down the street. My last 3 times getting take-out were huge disappointments. Food is burned. EVERYTIME! Not sure if there are new owners but sad to say, I’m done with 3 fortunes.

Love the dumplings, rice and the spring roll. Not a big fan of egg roll

I dont know why this place gets so many bad reviews. I have been a customer of theirs for years and have NEVER had a bad experience, and I order at least once a week. I got my coworkers addicted to this place. Their food is great and the staff is usually friendly. Their lunch specials are especially killer. 7 bucks for a TON of food. My fave is the L34, which is beef terryaki and chicken fingers and choice of white or fried rice, PLUS you can choose another app to go with it. Such a good deal and its DELICIOUS. more people need to know this place is great. Edit: Just ordered today and they forgot my order of large chicken fingers. called them back and they were extremely nice, and got a replacement order here within 15 minutes and STUFFED the box, so it was a lot mo re than a large. This is why I love 3 fortunes, if they make a mistake(which is rare) they rectify it. Great customer service.

Fortune #1 — You will make grave mistake by dining here Fortune #2 — You will feel an overwhelming sense of buyers remorse after consuming take-out Fortune #3 — Upon approaching 3 Fortunes, you will perceive that the condition of the exterior is a good indication of the quality of what’s cooking inside!

3 Fortunes is a small, apparently family-run Chinese place featuring the typical, Americanized Chinese menu. Nothing authentic, but it gets the job done and take-out is accomplished in about ten minutes. The food is absolutely standard in every way. The same mix & match meat with vegetables, tofu, chow foon, and moo shi that you’ll find anywhere. Their advantages are friendly faces and just about as low a price as you’ll find in Waltham other than Asia Wok. Family-style tofu is $ 7.95 when it’s usually a buck more elsewhere and two bucks more in, for example, Newton, for virtually the same product.
