Charles River Public Internet Center

I recently completed one of their outdoor photography classes which is offered throughout the summer and was incredibly pleased with the knowledge I gained afterwards. ‘Digital Dave’ was an excellent instructor and provided us with instruction that far exceeded our expectations! I would definitley recommend this center for the variety and quality of the classes they offer!

It is hard to find the parking lot here… so here are the directions.
Take Moody to Pine then to Cooper. The parking lot is near Ristorante Marcellino.
There is a parking money machine and the rates are reasonable. $ 2 for all day.
After parking you take the little foot bridge over the water and it is a short walk to what looks like no where.
Once inside there are a few different class rooms and an open area near the reception.
My company sent me to take a class and we simply used the space. They have an open area with small tables and chairs for eating lunch which is quite nice.
They also have a small kitchen with microwave. You can grab coffee and tea.
I’d like to go back to see what classes they offer. One of the staff members has a little Bichon, Tucker that I visited with. He was just so sweet and mild mannered. That was the best part (given I was working) visiting with the pooch.

I’m a brandeis student who wanted to learn photoshop, but didn’t want to hassle with learning it all on my own. I loved the class here — great instructor, lots of individual help and you get enough stuff to be able to fool around with the program later by yourself. I’m really getting into photography and wanted to do more than Paint can do, but I needed to find a good class for a reasonable price. I was psyched to find this place and highly recommend it for those who are interested in photography or graphic design

I took an Excel class. My class was small, so the instructor gave lots of individual attention-​he even made up exercises to make sure I understood how to do a couple of new things. Parking is cheap, and good places to eat on Moody Street. I’d definitely take another class here.
