the new management team started working since August 2014.

we understand that before our team took over the company’s management there were a lot of complaints about the way the customers have been treated. that wasn’t professional!

now we realize that some of the customers are coming back and, as a good gesture of apology, we are offering a %50 off of a Logan Airport ride to every customer who wasn’t treated properly by the former managemrnt.

Established in 2006.

Checker Cab of waltham has been bought by Cool Ride Taxi on August 2014. We are trying our best to regain the trust of the customers who stopped using the service of Checker Cab of waltham because of the way they were being treated so poorly.

Some of them came back but, a lot of them are still on the fence. Over time they will realize that our customercentric way of treating our customers is here to stay, they will come back.

Everybody wants and deserves to be treated properly.

This afternoon a checker cab of waltham #22 almost crashed into me. The older male driver with road rage issues decided he was going to accelerate and make a turn that he didn’t even signal and almost crashed into me. This man should stay off the road, he was rude, unprofessional and a menace to other drivers.

DO NOT USE this company! They also go by CHECKER CAB OF NEWTON. I called the night before for a cab in the morning to take me to the airport. Didn’t show up. The dispatcher was unapologetic about the situation. Literally yelled at me and said «GO AWAY, GO AWAY. I am hanging up now» and hung up on me. Unbelievable.

The dispatcher is one of the rudest I have ever dealt with! After the cab was late picking me up, I called to see where the cab was, and the dispatcher yelled at me over the phone about how impatient and unprofessional I was, and how I had been bothering him all day long! I will never call Checker Cab in Waltham again for a ride, and I have told everyone that I know in the area to never use their services either. Horrible experience.

this has got to be the worst taxi service available in what seems to be a town of surly taxi cab companies. the dispatcher is rude and cannot make a simple appointment, let alone not hang up. he hung up on me twice. i would give it zero stars if i could

Called on the morning that I needed a taxi for the 3 mile ride from Waltham to Newton bus station. After questioning my home address the dispatcher angrily told me that they don’t take calls for «Logan or South Station» without advance reservations. When I explained (again) that I wasn’t going to either of those places he irately told me that for local drives I had to wait to call «10 minutes before I needed pick up and take my chances.» I told him not to worry about it.

I scheduled a ride to the airport for 6:30 the following morning. When the cab hadn’t shown up by 6:45 a.m. I called to check on the status. The dispatcher said he didn’t have the pickup in the system and if I had made an inquiry they wouldn’t have put it in the system. I said I hadn’t made an inquiry, I had scheduled a pickup. His response was «screw you BIT@H!» I was so shocked I didn’t even know how to respond. He then continued on by saying «just give me your address and I will send a car.» To which I replied «are you kidding me???»
I WOULD WALK TO THE AIRPORT BEFORE I WOULD USE THIS COMPANY! They are less than unprofessional — they are down right RUDE!

Called for a pickup from Waltham to Logan airport. Told the address, that we are located on the ground floor and gave our phone # in case they got lost. When the driver never showed up I called the company and the rude dispatcher said «Hes there, wondering where you are.» I said, why didnt he call? He isnt on the ground floor? Im looking outside and he isnt there? To which the dispatcher responded «Listen, im at dispatch with two babies here I cant see whats going on!!!» Maybe if you had told the driver the correct place to go and that he should call if he gets lost we wouldnt be having the conversation! And I dont care if you brought your kids to work! NOT MY PROBLEM! VERY unprofessional! use ANY other cab

Called this place for a ride to the airport from Concord. When he asked what time I needed to leave, I said I needed to be there at 7:45AM and asked what time he thought they should get us. He said 5:30AM. I said «It takes two hours to get there?» and he barked «Don’t you want to be on time!?! Tell me what time you want us to get you!» At that point I said «Nevermind, no thanks» and hung up.
